  One star review for having a non free, barely anything breakfast. Free breakfast is the standard for hotels. when you charge $13, only bad things happen both for the hotel and for the customers. First, barely anyone eats because charging $13 for that is nuts. Second, you know there have been people who choose not to stay at this hotel because you charge for the breakfast. The amount of money you lose from that is likely more than the amount you make in profit from charging for the breakfast. There is barely anything to eat around here nearby if you drive a semi because i can't get around like cars can. But i would rather be hungry than spend that much on the same, or worse breakfast than what other hotels offer for free. Actually just the other day i spent 88 on a hotel and they had well cooked eggs, guacamole, yogurt, fruit, even better than a typical hotel breakfast and they did not charge to have it.

  The four stars is because of the inconvenience of the renovation construction. It's clear from other reviews that this Holiday Inn needed some attention, and I think they are getting it currently. Construction has been going on for 3 months and looks like it could be a while longer before it's completed. The restaurant and bar were not available because of the construction renovation. They have the restaurant moved to a small convention room. The rooms were very clean and the parts of the hotel that were accessible we're also very clean. I'm pretty picky about the bathroom and the toilet specifically and all of that was very clean. The plumbing probably needs to be updated. The toilet needed two flushes sometimes, the shower faucet didn't have a stop point and kept turning around and around, and the sink faucet needed a shimmy to get it in place to shut the water off completely. Otherwise fully stocked with everything and very clean. We never had a problem with our AC. We were given a complimentary breakfast voucher so that helped soften the inconvenience of the construction. All staff seemed dedicated and very friendly! The manager came in on her birthday to ensure that things ran smoothly while the construction was going on. My only suggestion is that the guys working the entrance area could be more helpful with the doors. The doors at their temporary entrance are not automatic so maneuvering the luggage cart by yourself is difficult. We will definitely stay here again!

  Hotel is under extensive renovations. No amenities available. Lights switches don’t turn on lights. Remote for tv in-op. Restaurant out of almost everything. Would not recommend for any reason.

  We probably should have checked right back out but we actually stayed here 3 nights. You might as well be sharing a room with the whole place. You hear and feel every persons conversation, tv going, every footstep and door slamming in the building. I was woken up multiple times middle of the night and early morning from the room shaking as people walk down the hall, so severely it’s like someone is jumping on your bed. The mattress must be decades old and unbelievably uncomfortable as you can feel the individual springs shifting any time you move.

  I booked this hotel through IHG and was charged 28,000 points. Upon arrival at 930 pm the first thing I noticed was the hotel is run down, parking lot in disrepair, and just an overall seedy appearance. Next thing was the hotel (undisclosed on the IHG website) is under construction. There is no lobby, the main entrance is closed, and there are no open amenities. I get to my room and find it is worn, dirty, and just in poor overall condition. I travel extensively for work and often stay at IHG properties because typically I can count on clean, modern properties. I cannot understand how this hotel carries the IHG brand name. I have contacted customer relations and have requested a refund of my points. If it wasn’t 10 pm and I had somewhere else to go I would leave now. Unfortunately I am stuck. I am so disappointed ☹️
