  Beautiful hotel. The lobby is gorgeous. Old school feel with all of the modern amenities. Super clean room. Comfy beds. Loved the digital walk in shower control with regular and handheld shower heads. The staff was phenomenal and very informative of the area. The breakfast buffet in the in-house restaurant had an amazing selection of food choices. Parking wasn't an issue with a garage around the corner (validated parking) and a skywalk into the hotel. I will be back. Thank you!!!

  Stayed Labor Day weekend, called because we were going to check in late and they held our room till 2a.m…whew!!! The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of food, if you call they will send up additional towels/washcloths or you can go to the front desk and get it in person. Our toilet seat was loose, almost lost my life..haha, went to the front desk and she wrote the room number and problem and by the time we came back, they put on a brand new toilet..Hallelujah, no more bracing yourself..lol! Thank you Clayton Hotel Plaza, you truly have beautiful staff and we enjoyed our stay.

  The place is massive but the staff was great with directions and helping us to the rooms. The pool is a heater ajoining indoor/outdoor pool. Super good, clean, and plenty of pool towels and sewting for parents. The pool had noodles and beach balls too! Pool has lights so you can swim after dark as well. No hot tub but the dry sauna was fun to use. The room was so quiet, blackout curtains were excellent, and rooms clean. The neighborhood is clean and safe enough to walk to the local shops. The parking garage is easy to use and the staff was awesome with the free validation. The breakfast had lots of options though was not the best, felt over cooked and everything was on the dry side but it'll fill your tummy so can't really complain too much. Coffee wasn't great so if you need the caffeine to function, you'll need the coffee shop down the road instead 😀

  We had an excellent experience at Clayton Plaza Hotel. The room was nicer than expected and everyone we talked to was very helpful. Very nice area. My daughter lost a blanket on her way to the car and the hotel was kind enough to find and send it to us for reasonable shipping cost. Highly recommend.

  Basically, a bleach torture chamber. And, on top of that, they do not even allow to crack open the window to air out the gallons of bleach that they must have "washed" the room with. When we asked for another room they said no. Update: Day 2 : we get in after 7 PM and our room is still not cleaned. Beds are not made and no clean towels! When I called the front desk, they said that they are all booked up and there is no room cleaning, WOW! This is 2-star hotel response. There is good news though - the smell of bleach is finally gone... Update: Night 2: I have trouble falling asleep, something is loudly scratching somewhere by the opposite wall. I try to ignore it. It stops, but then starts again. It is now almost 3 AM and I decide to figure this out. I get up and shine with my phone towarda the bench and the TV stand. I then move quietly closer - the sound gets louder. BAM, a tiny mouse scurries off, it must have been trying to get into the pizza box I left on the floor. This is on the 3rd floor, BTW. In the end, it was not all bad: the breakfast was great. And, the bathroom tech is pretty impressive (the digital shower) This was supposed to be a 4-star hotel (according to Google Maps) ... I will try to avoid staying at this hotel in the future. Before investing into fancy upgrades in the bathroom, they need to have the basics down : room service, safe and pleasant rooms, comfortable beds. Unfortunately, they failed on most of the basic requirements.
