Close to Walmart without crossing the dreaded STRIP. Easily bypass a LOT of traffic using green mountain. Wonderful rooms, wonderful front desk, and perfect location. Just amazing all the way around!!!

We bought a 3 day IHG package and instead of putting us at the Holiday Hills Resort, they put us at the Holiday Inn Express. Room is very damp and doesn't smell good. We bought some Ozium to help with the odor. People at the desk were very nice, but moving was not an option as this place is full and Holiday Hills said they were too. Very frustrating to buy a vacation package under the premise we were being treated to an IHG experience that would be amazing and end up in an unsatisfactory hotel room full of charter busses and summer travel teams.

Went to check into our room on July 10th and as soon as I walked into the lobby you could smell an odor in the hotel. Went up to our room and opened the door and was the mold and mildew blowing out into the room took our breathe away. You could see it in the ac unit and also on the ceilings and walls. The room was dirty and sheetrock was peeling. The carpet and bedding felt wet with moisture. Went down and they directed is to another room on a different floor completely away from the first room and it was the same but even worse. The mold and mildew in this place is unhealthy. Went and told them I was not going to stay showed them the pics I took of the room. The GM refused to refund the taxes we paid for the rooms even though we didnt stay. Told us that the mold was normal and that it happens overnight and its common due to the humidity in Branson. I can tell you the pics we took didn't happen overnight and I live in Missouri and this is not common. No other hotels in Branson that I have stayed at had this issue. Its lack of upkeep and maintenance. They even tried offering us the Go Green option which basically has you doing the housekeeping to save on labor costs. This hotel needs a complete overhaul and upgrade and some management. IHG needs to be concerned who is marketing there brand of hotels. Im an awards member and hands down worst experience I've encountered. Pictures dont do it justice of the experience i was ready to leave quickly due to air quality.

I’ll start with the positive. It’s on the cheaper side. But it’s true what they say- you get what you pay for. We started off with a room that was just nasty. It smelled awful like moldy mildew. Everything felt sticky from the humidity. There was hair all in the shower and toilet. Gnats came out of the microwave when we opened it. The bathroom door knob had to be turned all the way around just to open it. My 7 year old almost got stuck in the bathroom because of it. The room door itself wouldn’t latch all the way. And the AC wasn’t working. Our room was 87 degrees when we walked in. We were allowed to change rooms. Thank goodness. The new room- the AC worked. But there was still hair in the shower drain. The room smelled the same as the others. Very moldy and mildew. Even the sheets felt sticky from humidity. There was a dehumidifier in the room that wasn’t even on. And when we turned it on, the cord was so hot, it almost burnt me. The AC made it cold but it still felt humid and sticky. The bathroom smelled like straight mold, I was afraid to breathe it in. I get it was a cheaper option for the area but I should still be able to expect cleanliness. We also were told upon check in there were no roll away beds available and that the hotel only had 3 total. So we went to Walmart and bought an air mattress. Later that night, found out they had one so they gave us one. For the bed to not even fit in the room unless we all wanted to walk on the bed to get anywhere. This is ridiculous and 100% unacceptable. This is a hotel. Not a motel. I’ve stayed in cleaned motels. I will never stay here again and I do NOT recommend this hotel.
