  If visiting either Winona State or St Mary’s it is very convenient. Quiet and clean. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of options. Good coffee.

  Front desk communication is lacking. We were told we had been switched to a suite and had paid for it. Show up and it had been changed to a regular room. Also was told that early check in would certainly be available and not a problem. Showed up at 10 am. Maybe 10 cars total in the lot. Room wasn't ready until 3pm which is normal check in. Why express that early check in would not be an issue if any earlier would be a problem. Finally a manager came out with a level of anger and frustration that was completely unwarranted. We are here for a funeral for the death of my partners father. We have a total of at least four rooms booked. Why are we an inconvenience to you. And the manager needs to keep his anger in check. To come out angry at a grieving individual is unacceptable in any hospitality industry. Go back to school. The guest and client comes first on all levels of needs. I am a hospitality GM. This is basic 101 stuff and they screwed up big. This is childish behavior from adults. Grow up do your job and provide hospitality to those in need. Corporate look at this manger strongly and consider dif your image is worth someone bullying by treating customers like dirt. The front desk clerk was the most professional person in the building. That shows a lot. At least you have some staff that care.

  I had a great experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winona by IHG. Spotless rooms and the service went above and beyond. Quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed for the trip. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Winona.

  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winona by IHG was an okay experience. The stay was fine, though the room felt a little dated. Comfortable enough, but the walls were a bit thin. It was just fine — I might come back sometime.

  Very nice people at the front desk, my room was very clean and spacious. Everyone on staff was courteous, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast was fantastic.
