- BRBekah ReedOct 30, 20151.0We got kicked out of the hotel for saying "boooo" to an event employee. 2 days before Halloween we were having fun with other guests. As we walked thru the sky way, we noticed a few ladies behind us. We decided to hide behind a pole to scare them! They jumped, laughed, chit chatted for a few, and went about their marry way. To get to our room, we had to walk thru the business hall. At that time, there were only 4 people in there. So, we decided to startle one of the girls. (All in good fun). We walked up and scared one of the girls by saying "booooo". After jumping a bit, she thru a hissy fit!!! They (security and the hotel manager) threaten to call the cops on us for assault!!!!! We said we were just trying to make people laugh, be light hearted, and we never touch anyone (how is that assault???) Their response was "have you never heard of verbal assault?'" For saying boooo??? Are you F-Ing kidding me????? We basically got hunted down by the security. When we realized they were mad, we went to the front desk to apologize and let them know we we just fooling around. Us two girls from Iowa. The from desk giggled as we showed them videos of our "scare cam." They actually asked us to scare some or the restaurant employees while we were chit chatting (which we did.) Who can't take a joke??? We eventually got kicked out when security met us in the lobby. They followed us to our room and would not allow us women to shut the door as we changed clothes. It was pretty creepy, degrading, and we felt like criminals! All for saying "booooo!" And we do have it on video!
