A really wonderful get away for the day. We happened to go when they were practicing for their 250th anniversary and got to see them shoot off the cannons twice! Our guide was wonderful and well informed. It's really cool that all the old buildings are back to their former glory and like stepping back in time. We learned so many things about Minnesota and it's history that I honestly had no clue even happened. The kids loved everything but the big hill 😆.

This park has excellent walking paths, an interesting historical fort as well as a small museum. There are also clean restrooms 🚻. It's a win 🏆 win.
