  What a wonderful front desk staff. I asked for a certain room and they were able to accommodate me. Celeste helped me both times at check in recommended a great pizza place. Mo the manager was attentive and they all had a wonderful sense of humor.

  Clean, spacious rooms. Lovely amenities. Full sized shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Very comfy beds. Great pool, little pool and hot tub. Kind, patient and helpful staff. I enjoyed our 2 day stay immensely. I will highly recommend to all.

  Front desk was great had my room cleaned and they didnt vacuum or clean the floors. Room and hotel felt like i stepped into the 80s. Was good overall for the price but probably the worst IHG/Holiday Inn I've stayed at.

  First let’s start by saying I am a disabled veteran and we are club members of IHG. Upon arrival the outer doors were inoperative. There were kids running and the common area was full of what seemed to be a large group of possible baseball teams and was literally unusable. I was told I could receive a discount for my points and military and the front desk was hesitant to apply. We were only offered a military discount. We checked into our room, which you were immediately overwhelmed by what seemed to have been smoked in, and hot and stuffy. The was loud stomping and running which we called down to the front desk and was told “they signed a contract “ which I don’t know what that meant. We then stopped by the front desk an hour later and reminded them about the stomping from above and the running in the hallways. Upon returning from dinner, we called again about the continuous stomping, which continued until 11pm. The room, at least we had hot water. The ceiling looked like there had been previous damage and drywall cracking and literally falling down right above the bed. There was falling drywall in several spot in the room, the bathtub and a big crack in it. We were never offered a solution for the noise or a room change as the management places kids on every floor. We wanted to sit by the pool and use the hot tub but that area was noisy and over ran by non supervised kids and the common area was full of very large groups. We never had access to even the free breakfast as it was again, full with kids and parents. Obviously this hotel management does not understand their job of hospitality. We purposely stayed out at our wedding event which brought us to St Cloud and on Sunday morning we got up early and left. It was a terrible experience. I even reached out to corporate thru the IHG app and they cannot accommodate a simple request for points or even a refund. We are very hesitant to use IHG in the future and definitely will not be back to the Holiday Inn Express in St Cloud. Location of the hotel is right across from a truck stop and makes it feel a bit unsafe. Lighting in bathroom is dark and even with all the light on and standing in the hallway of the room my wife had problems seeing while putting makeup on. We splurged for a king room with jetted tub but it is so low and the toilet, it was difficult to be used. I was not able to use the jetted tub and thought I was going to pull the little handles in the bathroom out of the vanity. Trash was left in the elevators and it seemed as the staff was not prepared for their guests. Update as of July 14. After numerous texts with IHG corporate and finally a response from the hotel, corporate offered some points and the hotel offered a one night refund. Hopefully this hotel can remember that they are in the business of hospitality and have a responsibility to all of their guests.
