    We were blown away by how accommodating the staff was! We didn't book ahead for Labor Day weekend and were driving home late at night when we decided to see if they had a room. I think the lady was named Suzanne(maybe Susana? 😬)and the gentleman was Mateo. They made it work for us and went above and beyond. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!

    The hotel itself is very nice with a nice view of lake Superior in the distance. It had a nice big pool and hot tub. I took a star off because the room was small but the bed was comfy. For what you get paying $245 before taxes was overpriced. But only hotel in the area. They have ice cream and frozen pizzas for sale if you are hungry. They have a pizza oven to cook the pizzas. I would only stay here again if they lowered the rate. But it seems everything in the North Shore is overpriced.

    My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and offered a great breakfast spread. Much more than you get at most places that include breakfast. The hotel and our rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again.

    Fantastic stop on the Superior Hiking Trail for resupply. It's a few miles off-trail from Silver Bay, but very doable on foot — and there are local trail angels (ask around town for the retired guy who likes helping hikers out) if you'd rather grab a ride. This place is genuinely hiker-friendly: on-site laundry, super welcoming front desk staff, and the assistant general manager went out of his way to help — he actually drove us into town to resupply. Grabbed groceries at Zup's (they had everything we needed) and grabbed a bite next door. Handy tip: there's a tunnel under Highway 61, so you can walk to the inn from town without having to walk the highway shoulder. Friendly, accommodating, well-located for trail resupply. Couldn't recommend it more.

    We loved this place. Such a great/peaceful location and beautiful place! The pool was so fun, staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options. You can buy frozen pizzas in the lobby and cook them yourself in the pizza maker which was a big hit after a long day of traveling, so we appreciated that. Great stay and would definitely recommend.
