  It's a 30 minute drive from saint paul and the staff are very nice and always there to help when needed . It's also very quiet most of the time and the pool is nice and warm not crowded and everything is close like gas stations and grocery and fast food.

  The vent in the bathroom was filled with dirt, the fitted sheets on the bed had lost all of the elastic and would not stay on the mattress so we basically slept on a used mattress with stains. The breakfast that was provided was cold on the first day because they had not turned on the burners and on the second day it was Luke warm. There was only one very small bar of soap for both the shower and sink and one 1.5 oz bottle of shampoo and one 1.5 oz bottle of conditioner. We ended up moving to another hotel as they said there was no rooms to move to.

  The staff is what really blows this place out of the water! They were all so incredibly nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel is nice. It was clean. But it was a little dated decor wise, but not in a bad way. Our bathroom had popcorn ceiling with some damage. I assume it was from the lack of a bathroom fan, with heat and condensation causing the minimal damage. Something we do love about the bathroom is the timed heat lamp! It makes every shower warm and helps dry swimsuits even faster! Speaking of swimsuits, they have a heated pool!!! The hot tub is also a generous size and has two different sets of jets that can be controlled individually. The pool area offers plenty of seating and space, with a nice and very clean bathroom. They have a courtyard in the middle of the hotel that some rooms open up to. Those are rooms we love to snag if we can! We love having direct access from our room to it and appreciate the screen door for fresh air. The breakfast area is good sized. And our kids loved all the breakfast options. For the price you pay, I feel this hotel is all-around a good value.

  Thank you to Maria V for the wonderfully clean room. Helen, Olivia, Keith, Peggy, Andi, and Josh for superb service at the front desk! Great place to stay. Excellent location and restaurant attached!
