  Best western vary from place to place. This is the best one I've stayed in. Clean, modern, large room. Highly recommend. Only draw back was an odd smell in the hallway and someone's dog barking in middle of night. Would stay again.

  Stayed here for a family wedding. They had great customer service at the front desk. The rooms was spacious and comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave in our room. The pool and hot tub were a hit with my kids. Breakfast is pretty standard. If you like cereal, oatmeal, pasties, and waffles, you will be quite happy. The choices for hot items is limited - usually a potato, a meat, and an egg option. If you are a picky eater, you may have to hit the McDonald’s next door. By the way, there is a gas station and McDonald’s next door and a HyVee a stone’s throw away. If your family likes to fish, there is also a pond a block away. Pro Tip: there is an ice machine in each floor and a drinking fountain on the main floor near the elevator with a water bottle filler. Also, our power died in the middle of the night and we had to call the front desk. The concierge came right up and fixed it for us. It turned out that it was the electrical outlet outside of our bathroom that had tripped. She hit the button and it was back to bed for all of us. My only two issues during our stay were: No functioning internet (which I assume is not normal). My phone only had 1 bar so communicating and retrieving information in my phone was a challenge. The other issue is a simple request - I would have loved some fresh fruit at the breakfast area. A bowl with bananas, apples and oranges would have sufficed. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic place in a great location, for a great price. I highly recommend it.

  We had a last minure trip with a late arrival and searched for hotels in the area. Online stated rooms available at lower rates by $50. But upon arriving only high end suites were available. Seems like a bait and switch. They did give us a little better deal but not ideal after making the effort to get there. Biggest issue we have with all hotels are they have amazing hard floors in the rooms to make them allergy free but then they spray something all over the fabrics so you can hardly breathe. It infiltrated all of our belongings until we could air them out at home or launder them. This isn't just this hotel but most that we have stayed at recently. They claim allergy free but its not. Tub drain plug didn't stay down. Only shower available. We could also hear the people walking in the room above us at 4am. Woke us up. Very loud. No voices just booming steps. Breakfast was good. Just not the scrambled eggs. Dry and chewy. Go for the hardboiled eggs. We didn't use any of the other amenities.
