  I love the location of this hotel to the Mayo Clinic into the Mayo Civic Center. They have an over head walkway that takes you directly to the Civic center and also to the Mayo clinic which is really nice. It keeps you warm in the winter and keeps you dry and cool in the summer. The room is very nice and clean. The only drawback was the fact that the shower was so tiny. They do provide a shower chair if you need the staff is also very friendly and kind. Our refrigerator was broken and they came to fix it right away. Then we had to call because the second refrigerator did not cool down, but they came fast and replaced it and the third one worked great.

  We stayed here and liked it enough to return. But this time our experience was not so pleasant. We apparently had to fill out a form to get our room cleaned, and the front desk failed to give us the form. When we asked for room service, they couldn’t make a change. When we asked for replacement towels and coffee, it was slow in coming. Plus they gave us an inside room with no windows which felt rather depressing. We think we’ll try the hotel across the street next visit.

  We cannot express our gratitude for this safe haven amidst our cancer journey enough. When you are being put through health stress, the last thing you want is to be somewhere that causes anxiety. This hotel is the quietest hotel we've ever been to! We literally could hear nothing!!! The AC was amazing, the pillows soft, and the entry super easy, as it's connected to the parking garage. The only thing is taller vehicles might not fit in the garage. There are lots of spaces to relax and read (outside and inside), as well as everything is connected to the skywalk system. For us, though, the staff made it! Special thanks to Doug and Sandy for their compassion and empathy for our situation. We cannot appreciate you enough. Bottom line, if you want a quiet place that feels like home, search no further. Hotel Indigo is the only way to go.

  Location I didn't choose but I don't like downtown, so that means nothing Now services. First 2 nights great but the third day and checkout. At the restaurant the chicken was undercooked even after management had them remake it. Upon checking in they sell you a discount for the parking garage that did not work. I had to pay when leaving the garage even though the hotel already charged me. When I told them to take it off the bill the night before checkout, the lady at the counter told me it was taken care of. When I was checking out I was told that the charger was still on my bill and they could not remove it because the parking garage was owned by the city. I then asked why they offered anything as far as a charge if the garage was not theirs to charge me in the first place. No answer to that. They charged me and then removed the charges, it can be seen on the receipt. I for one would not recommend this hotel and I will not be back

  I stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Rochester twice over a two-week period, totaling seven days. Despite being a returning customer, my experience was plagued by multiple issues, culminating in a shocking display of unprofessionalism, gaslighting, and hostile customer service. The Incident: Missing Property and Management's Delays During my stay, a personal item left in the bathroom completely disappeared immediately following a housekeeping service. I contacted the front desk and management multiple times to see if it could be located. Instead of taking the matter seriously, they dragged their feet, delayed giving me answers, and gave me the runaround for days. The Confrontation: Gaslighting Instead of a Resolution When I finally pressed for a resolution at checkout, the staff completely shut down. I reasonably suggested that a team member might have accidentally tossed the item during cleaning and that I expected a basic apology or fair compensation for the negligence. Instead of showing empathy, they dug their heels in. They told me they "could not accuse their people", indirectly and insultingly implying that I was lying about the item being missing in the first place. There was zero accountability, no apology, and absolutely no compensation. Hostile and Retaliatory Behavior at Checkout It didn't stop at an insult. After I voiced my complaints, the front desk staff engaged in what can only be described as petty, retaliatory behavior. They exhibited incredibly odd and hostile attitudes, refused to even print out my receipt, and made the final checkout process deeply uncomfortable. Final Verdict As a frequent traveler who gave this hotel repeat business, I am shocked by how I was treated. It is one thing for an item to go missing due to negligence; it is an entirely different level of failure to insult the guest, stall for time, and display vindictive behavior at the front desk. I am never coming back here. Save your money and stay somewhere that respects its guests and understands basic hospitality.
