  I was @ my 2nd visit to the EVEN HOTEL in Rochester,MN. The best part of the visit was “Mike” who happened to be coming up to the desk while I was checking in. He insisted on helping me get into the hotel. My best friend was waiting in her car out front of the hotel. Mike came out to her car and unloaded our things and took them to the 2rooms I had for us. He explained to my friend how to get into parking garage and how to get to the rooms. Mike was such a gentleman, professional and so much help. Thank you Mike, Mary Ann Murray

  Maddie at the front desk was incredibly helpful when my same day Expedia reservation didn’t transfer properly. I was absolutely exhausted from a day of driving and her kindness and sense of humor were an absolute breath of fresh air! Well done Maddie!!!

  Stayed at the EVEN Hotel Rochester Mayo Clinic Area and unfortunately it was one of the most frustrating Hotel stays I've had in years. After a long drive, we arrived to find the drop-off area blocked and were sent to a remote parking lot several blocks away. The check-in and parking process took so long that we missed the restaurant's food service by minutes, leaving us to order DoorDash instead. The Hotel offered a couple of complimentary breakfast items, but that didn't really make up for the inconvenience. The next morning, the driver who was supposed to take guests back to the parking lot wasn't available, so everyone had to walk with their luggage. Between the parking issues, lack of communication, and disappointing service, this stay fell well short of expectations. Disappointing experience overall.

  Right off the bat, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly friendly and helpful the driver was (Mike) who escorted us to our parking place. Then I was impressed again by Machelle at the front desk who after a slight mix-up immediately provided me with extra coupons for free hotel breakfasts. The room was beautiful, very clean and the lobby has an immensely appealing gas fireplace. Also the tap water at the restaurant bar was the most perfect water I would ever hope to drink! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  Not impressed. Given the wrong type of room even though I booked 3 weeks in advance. Front office said they were overbooked so they bumped me. Asked to switch rooms with no luck. Asked for a discount with no luck. Room was clean. Parking was “sold out” so we had to park on a side street, which was a walk to the hotel. Reading light next to bed was paint-taped to the wall. Not a good first impression. Overall, a pretty bad experience. Won’t book here again- many other options in the area.
