  Very nicely remodeled with modern updates, quiet area. I was there for a fishing trip with friends nearby and was easily accessible to the Lake. Only thing that probably should be addressed is the shower floors get very slick when wet.

  Such a great experience. We stayed for one night to bike in the central lakes trail. Just steps from both the central lakes and lake Wobegon trails. Keep this place in mind if you’re riding the trails and need a great place to stay!!

  Honestly, nothing to dislike about our stay! Easy online reservation and check in—and being able to stay affordably close to family! The recently renovated room: clean, updated tastefully…all made for a great experience! We’ll be back!

  Rooms were very clean, towels and bedding were fresh and new. A/C and shower worked great and the retro fridge, radio and clock were nice touches. Location is perfect for quick access to the Crooked Willow wedding venue as well as walking proximity to the charming downtown Osakis and beautiful lake. If you visit make sure to try out Tip Top ice cream shoppe and don’t miss AJ’s for breakfast. Panther distillery was great with lots of good gift ideas. Loved our trip - thank you Motor Lodge!

  OMG we loved this place! Previously when visiting relatives in Alexandria we’ve stayed right off the highway exit ramp in a hotel that was inexpensive but it felt…old and used and you could hear so much highway noise. BUT that was NOT the case at the Motel… and gave us easy access to get to Miltona. THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! Everything was brand new but had a retro vibe, which was adorable! We walked into hard wood floors or vinyl so there was no dingy carpeting which made it feel cleaner at first impression and the A/C was on and made the room nice and cold which we loved because it was warm outside. Beds were oh-so-comfy, there was no highway noise-I think speed limit on road next to it is 30mph so we heard a few cars. At home we sleep with blackout curtains so it was brighter in the morning at the motel than I’m used to, so next time we stay I’ll pack my sleep mask. The bathroom was beautiful, big smart TV worked well, bistro table suited our needs. Loved it all! Didn’t see or hear any other guests & parking lot had 6-7 cars.
