Lovely resort with high-end amenities. My spruce cabin had a full kitchen and luxury bathroom and overlooked the lake. It was steps from the beach and had outdoor seating. A gas fireplace kept me warm on the night it rained.
Kayaked, paddle boarded, took a sauna, sunbathed on the well-maintained beach and had a campfire.
Very close to the shops in Nisswa and you could walk or bike there via the Paul Bunyan Trail- they have free bikes for you to use.

Very serene atmosphere. The minute I stepped onto the property I felt like I could finally slow down. The veiw from the Cedar Cabin was beautiful. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a relaxing vacation with no pressure for a set agenda, but options if you do want to fill your day with activities.

I prefer the room not next to the maintenance area.. busy working early AM
would like the option of being able to have the room darker- love the shade over the window- would like curtains to go the length of the wall.
Since you are not able to turn off the outside lighting on the deck.

This place is COOL. Love the get-back-to-nature vibe and mission. Room - we were booked for one of the Cedar cabins, but - upon arrival - switched to a "treehouse" cabin which was more private and very cool. Loved the big tub! Bed was lux. Water pressure good/great. Water from faucet was really good; no need to buy bottled water. Location - grounds are nice with a decent-sized and daily-raked beach. Two bonfire pitson the sand. Service - so good. Made to feel welcome. Phillip's the bomb. Not surprised he's got The Ritz in his background. Finally, it's so nice when so much is included: firewood, fire starters, fishing poles, bicycles, indoor pickleball court, nice fitness area, bath salts, sauna, nice beach towels, private beach, you get the idea. Check it out.
