  Great staff and digs. Perfect venue for a wedding and no mosquitoes! Our favorite was the bike ride on the Bunyan. Thank you for the memories!

  My wife and I took our 3 month old and two dogs to Nature Link in early October and the experience was great. They were accommodating when we had to reschedule our reservation. The property is intimate and beautiful. We stayed in the Juniper lodging which was a two-level, two bedroom, two bath lodging with full kitchen, gas fireplace, HVAC, and the main bathroom including a large soaking tub. The unit also had large windows in the downstairs bedroom, the main bathroom next to the soaking tub, and the living room space, all with beautiful views of the wooded areas and some of the shared spaces. Our unit had a single parking space, but additional parking spaces are just a very short walk away. Some of the other units had the lakeside view and those seemed equally great. There's a shared space at the center with a small playground for children and a propane grill and picnic bench. At the lake they have available for rent a pontoon, and available for free use (I believe) some kayaks and canoes. We didn't use any of these, but they appeared in great condition. The lake is beautiful and was a great way to start and end the day. At the beach were multiple firepits with firewood and fire-starting kits (lighters, kindling, etc) available. They had plenty of Adirondack chairs around the pits and beach loungers by the shore. The sauna is located at the beach as well and also had a big beautiful window with a view of the lake. We used this a few times and it as nice and hot. The sauna, the lodging, and every other area we used was clean, organized, and stocked well with supplies like towels, toilet paper, water, coffee, etc. We never needed to ask for anything else, though I'm sure if we did the staff would've been happy to provide. The Clubhouse fitness center is located in the same building as check-in/registration. We did tour the facility but didn't use it. It had a decent selection of workout equipment including free weights, bikes, and other machines, a pickleball court, a putting green, board games that could be used in your room or elsewhere, a space to sit and lounge, etc. They have bikes and hammocks available for use, and e-bikes and e-scooters for rent. We didn't use any of these things but did see them and, again, all in great condition. The staff was welcoming from even before check in with a welcoming text message and update on the readiness of our room, which happened to be ready before their usual check in time. They provided dog beds and bowls for our pups. It's located minutes from downtown Nisswa which was great for going out for lunch or dinner, but we also made use of our kitchen and spent more time on the property. And that's what made this experience great. It really was a place to disconnect and enjoy the location. It feels like a place where you can walk around in your PJs with a cup of coffee, and that's exactly what we did. I also walked around the large event center but not in it, and walked around the outdoor wedding area. Both, again, were clean and pretty, from what I saw. We caught sight of some deer in the woods and also one swimming from the little island just off shore back to the main land. At night we could see all of the stars and it was peaceful and quiet. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back again. We're eager to experience this same place in the winter and summer seasons as well. Highly recommend.

  Made a reservation mid September 2026 for a wedding we can't attend in late July 2027. Within 11 days of the reservation we let them know we had an issue and couldn't make it. The response was very direct and very short. No refunds. No offer to work with us. No offer to list it and if it doesn't book we pay. No wiliness to take an inconvenience fee of us booking for 11 days and canceling. They also claim ability to transfer to anyone else. It looks nice, can't image dealing with these people.

  We had such a wonderful stay! The space was so relaxing, the views were amazing, and it was the perfect place for our wedding weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate such a special time!

  Complaints and Nit Picks The beds are so hard The lighting on the lower level is silly- why aren’t there any dimmers ? Why, in a cabin made for four (4) guests is there only a loveseat that fits two people and no couch or lounge chairs . Really no place to lounge and chill. The fan on the “fireplace” needs help - super loud- At least you can shut it off. GREAT Stuff Great bathtub and shower and baths - 5 stars Powerful and responsive heating and Ac Beautiful beach and docks nice sandy shoreline Awesome sauna / bathroom at the beach Great event center - bartender jessica was superb with her hospitality Katy katie ? Was so nice at check in and explained all the amenities Great fire pit on the beach and perfect firewood - like smokeless
