- DMDrea Morrow5 days ago4.0Not really that many options out here, but so far so good. Both front desk staff are very welcoming! I do have to say the "breakfast" is not what you would expect, very little options, but at least it is something!. Enjoyed the pool and got tub and patio!

They never took garbage that was sitting outside the rooms all weekend. Front desk members were slightly off putting.. when checking in one said, “oh we’re making a killing off all of you this weekend!” …

- AZAlisdair ZastrowJul 5, 20263.0My family and I have stayed at the Grand Stay Hotel & Sweets every year on our way to our week long family camping trip. It's in a great spot, honestly I'd say. Right next to a Subway and Walmart in town. Would recommend as a one night stop. Service or rooming wasn't good enough to stay more than a night. This hotel does have a great lawn for animals to do business, and our room was big enough for a medium sized kennel. Overall a pretty mediocre hotel in Montevideo.
