- AZAlisdair Zastrow5 days ago3.0My family and I have stayed at the Grand Stay Hotel & Sweets every year on our way to our week long family camping trip. It's in a great spot, honestly I'd say. Right next to a Subway and Walmart in town. Would recommend as a one night stop. Service or rooming wasn't good enough to stay more than a night. This hotel does have a great lawn for animals to do business, and our room was big enough for a medium sized kennel. Overall a pretty mediocre hotel in Montevideo.
