- JPJodi Petroski2 days ago5.0Really enjoyed our stay and the on-site Normandy Kitchen restaurant. Rooms were spacious and updated. The old world charm of the building was great. Lots of seating areas through the hotel to enjoy conversation or chess. Great pool area with ample seating and ping pong. Free coffee and filtered water and fresh cookies at 10 pm. Restaurant was great. Eggs en Cocette fantastic. Pizza very cheesy and crisp crust and definitely shareable. Servers were fun. On-site parking was very easy. $15 per night. 5 min walk to the Armory and 10 min walk to the Orpheum. Perfect place to stay for a reasonable price with friendly staff. Great restaurant. It had it all. We will be back.

No fan noise for those who sleep with white noise. The milk and cookies were appreciated by our group. Great location close to all the big venues!
- NSNathan Stewart6 days ago1.0Rented 2 rooms. Checked in and the thermostat was at 80. Turned on the air and quickly figured out the air wasn’t working. Called the front desk and they sent someone up at 4. He stated he didn’t really know what he was doing and would come back. He never came back. Came back from and event at 10:30 and the room was even hotter. The thermostat was working, but the air was clearly not. We asked to be moved with no luck. They stated they had no one that could work on the issue, move our rooms, or even discuss a price adjustment. Would definitely not recommend

Was going to a show at The Armory, was perfect walking distance from the venue and eateries. Nice parking area as well. They had a nice pool and hot tub area. Never used bar and restaurant but it looked good.
- AGAlexis GoodMay 2, 20265.0When we come back to Minneapolis we will definitely be staying here! The ladies at the front desk were friendly and amazing. The pool was warm and not crowded. Sauna takes awhile to heat up but worth it. The whole pool area is very cool and well kept. Our room was clean and inviting, and the bathroom was spacious. The hallways downstairs are filled with memorabilia and historical stuff. The building has such a unique style! We were so happy we chose to stay here and still laugh about how the Best Western in Minneapolis is the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time! We will be back.
