- SBSANDRA BESTLAND5 days ago5.0My room (which was newly remodeled, very clean, classy, and functional) was on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. It was very windy so the lake had white caps, which made the view and surface of the lake very interesting as it changed colors when the sun came out. The next morning the wind had died down and there were beautiful white pelicans swimming in the lake. The hotel pool area includes a hot tub, just the right way to relax after driving a long distance from the north. Hotel staff and the dining room staff were all excellent. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring but was included in the room rate. At check out, I notified the front desk that the room fridge wasn't working. To compensate, I added ice from the hotel ice machine to chill bottled water. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, a gas station, fun activities, and a giant troll. The Holiday Inn has the best view of any hotel in the area. Make sure to ask for the lake view rather than the view of the indoor pool (though if you have children the poolside rooms may be a great choice as they are located near a game room in the hotel).

Dylan went above and beyond and was so accommodating to our needs. Both have great customer service skills and that’s something that’s hard to find nowadays. The rooms were very clean and it was a 10+ stay! Awesome job housekeeping! 👏🏽

- JSJ SMar 23, 20264.0I haven’t stayed here before as I live in town but I’ve had many birthday parties in the pool area here and I can say that every time I have it’s been a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was properly maintained and clean. I’ve also ate at the restaurant recently and the food was delicious, as well as the bar staff being amazing. Very happy to come here again in the future.
