Love the place. But recently my family and I were there, and a big guy at the front desk was talking (non-discreetly) about smoking pot. Later, I spotted the same employee outside the check-in building blowing massive vape clouds. 🤢 come on?! Have some professionalism

We love it here. Only bad part is that it's dated. Needs some up grades to rooms and patio. Still love it here. Can't wait for the new golf course to open next year. We love our view from our room. Staff is friendly and shops are nice.

All in all, it was fine, but likely won’t go back. The staff was all great, but it looks like ownership is letting it go and it’s getting pretty run down. Simple things like cleaning the pool area and taking care of landscaping are not happening. The “tanning beach” is obviously just an excuse to not have to maintain what was once their main beach, but I will say their “swimming beach” is very nice and sandy. It’s also missing some common activities like tennis, pickleball, fishing pier, basketball, bike trails, etc., that other “high end” resorts in the area have. Definitely not worth the price.

We just returned from a family wedding. We had reserved a Lodge apartment through the website for my family of 5. The space was very run down, the freezer was frozen over. The shower space desperately needed some TLC. The carpet was dirty, furniture ripped. The apartment above us was rocking until 2am and the walls are very thin. We requested to switch rooms but were told there was nothing they could do and they would send maintenance for the freezer. Maintenance never came. The party above continued for all 3 nights we stayed. My bride had left gift bags for all the guests and none of us received them upon arrival, we had to go ask for them after she told us. Overall a disappointing experience having come all the way from Colorado for a short amount of time and for the price. I should mention this is our second time staying at the Lodge Apartments, we did not have the same experience last time.
The resort also lost my parents reservation and did not have any more available rooms. They did get an upgrade by the pool due to lack of available rooms and their error.
The property however is beautiful and you can't beat the views.
Rooms are dated and feel damp. However, lake and beach area are great, food is good. Nice place for large family get-togethers.
Edit: We stayed in one of the ground level rooms in the Y-shaped “Breezy Point Inn and Suites” rooms. We also spent time in one of our family members’ rooms who were in one of the “Breezy Center” rooms near the pool/arcade area.
