  Smooth check in and front employee was very efficient and nice. I like that Trader Joe's is right across the street. The rooms are dated and the bed we had should probably be replaced. Also, the left side of our window was missing it's drapes.

  On demand housekeeping! Good location, about 20 minutes from Minneapolis and 10 min from the Mall of America. Older, remodeled hotel that is nice. Business center computers didn't work so I had to go to local library three days. Nice location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. Flew in to attend the Chris Brown/Usher concert!!! Beautiful weather at about 80 degrees each day. Update: Printer doesn't work either although there is a significant that says complementary printing is available at the front desk.

  Just finished a four night stay. The front desk staff was always very helpful and courteous and the location is good for getting into town or to the mall area. That is about where our good experience ended. The rooms are dated. Not in a style manner, but a cleanliness manner. Dirty floors and furniture from years of wear with no deep cleans. Wallpaper peeling and ceilings crumbling in the bathrooms. And furniture that is semi functional with chairs broken and drawers/cabinets that don't work or close and stained couches. It is just worn out with little upkeep. The breakfast staff made us feel like we were a nuisance being there, eating breakfast at a hotel supplied continental breakfast. Any questions were met with short, grouchy answers. Items in the breakfast were mostly gone and not restocked, even the next day. I was told about yogurt "sorry brah, just out" even though it had been out the previous morning as well. The tables were still dirty from the day before breakfast as well. Then there is the trash cans. Every morning, the breakfast trash was still overflowing from the day before, all of them. Same goes for the hall trashes throughout the hotel. When we first arrived, there were 4 large bags of trash left in the hall by the elevators on our floor that stunk terribly. We mentioned it to the desk and they kindly made a call to get them picked up. But, the next morning, they were still there. The whole floor smelled horribly. It's an ok stay with clean linens and a decent location. It was a cheaper rate than most conparibles in the area and that shows.

  There is zero chance we will stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express again. The location in regard to airport and downtown was excellent. Had ease of access to restaurants and Trader Joe's. Everything else was less than desirable. We paid for 3 nights of 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Night 1 when pulling out the sofa bed it was broken and unusable. We alerted the front desk immediately and were told they would get us a rollaway bed immediately. It never came. They also never relayed it to the other shifts. We went more than half of our stay without the amenities our room was to have. Our magnetic card reader and card fobs also didn't work throughout the stay. We had to have the front desk reset no less than 10 times and then have them become condescending and blame my apple watch. The elevators were extremely slow and did not operate fully at times. In all just a rotten experience. We are glad the city itself made up for things.

  I stayed here for 5 nights on vacation with my family and had a great experience. The room was fine and the amenities were nice (including the indoor pool), but the real star was the amazing continental breakfast: bacon, sausage, an automatic pancake maker, yogurt, muffins, cereal, biscuits & gravy, juices, and more! The nightly rate was very reasonable and if you join IHG Hotels rewards, they waive the $10/night parking fee. Front desk was helpful and the location is by the highway, so easy to get to. Highly recommended!
