  Close to mall of America. Our room is very clean and the lobby is entertaining (pool table). The hot tub was a nice touch to end of the day. They also had a restaurant that we didn’t try due to going to another event outside

  First thing’s first. The room was super clean. However that’s basically where it ends. The exterior and main lobby looks great and renovated, but the rooms show signs of aging and are very very small. The bed was not comfortable and very springy. The pillows were not good either. They were down filled but very flat to the point your head basically divides the fill. We asked for extra pillows which they brought. However when we requested to replace the remaining down filled pillows with the memory foam they took all of our pillows, including the extra we requested, and left us with 4 somewhat flimsy pillows. The rooms are pretty poorly designed. Next to no counter space, zero space in the sink area and the bathroom is tiny. The kicker for me is the AC unit being about a foot away from the top / head portion of the bed. So we couldn’t even have the AC on without risking one of us freezing cold all night. I had to sacrifice a towel over 75% of the AC unit just to protect us. When we checked in, both toilet paper rolls were almost empty and the tissue looked like it was shoved back into the box. Fun fact, housekeeping does not service rooms unless you request it the night before in the name of “saving the environment”. Yah right. The only sign for this was in the elevator, with nothing left in the rooms. I had to argue to get my room serviced so we can at least get some toilet paper. I was later told “you had the do not disturb sign on so they didn’t clean the room.” So my first question is why would they service the room if I didn’t request it? And if the DND is on, then that’s a sign to come back later. We were out of the room 830am-4pm. Bottom line, it’s a clean hotel in a convenient location for a decent price. I love my IHG hotels but would I stay at this one again? Most likely not.

  Check in was easy and quick. Front desk lady was very nice. Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved the dove products in the bathroom. Pool was nice, clean, and a good size. Loved the unique layout of the pool area. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back!

  The location is excellent—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with a clean carpet and very comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed the welcoming lobby and restaurant. There were also several thoughtful amenities, including free ice, complimentary water available from the fitness room, and freshly brewed coffee in the lobby 24/7. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available on the second floor, which was very convenient during our stay. Another big plus is the free parking. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Hospitality, Phenomenal Food, and Top-Tier Service!I cannot say enough good things about my stay at the Holiday Inn Bloomington W MSP Airport Area. I arrived well before check-in time during a highly chaotic, busy weekend in town. Instead of making me wait blindly, the front desk verified my reservation and immediately escorted me to the guest laundry so I could catch up on some clothes while waiting. As soon as the very first room in my type opened up, they personally came to get me so I could check in early. Talk about a first impression!The Rooms & Amenities:Impeccable Rooms: The room was fantastic and incredibly clean. Best of all, it smelled genuinely fresh and clean, not like harsh chemical masking sprays.Fun Common Areas: The lobby/common area is awesome. They have a pool table, foosball, and board games, making it a great spot to hang out.Relaxation: The indoor pool and hot tub were well-maintained and perfect for unwinding.The Service & Dining:Phenomenal On-Site Restaurant: Everything I ate at the on-site restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. You do not even need to leave the hotel for a world-class meal.Rockstar Staff: The team here genuinely cares. Ashley at the front desk was amazing and incredibly accommodating. JR the bartender mixes great drinks and provides stellar service. Even Terry, the General Manager, is constantly on the floor with a vacuum in hand making sure the property is spotless!Coming from Indiana, I am always on the lookout for a reliable place to stay when traveling, and this hotel exceeded every expectation. If I am ever back in the MSP/Bloomington area, this is the only place I will be staying. Highly, highly recommend!
