  BEWARE!!! In all my 74 years of traveling all over the world, I have never encountered a ruder or more hateful front desk employee. I can’t give you his name, because he wore no name tag. When I checked in at 5 pm on September 9, he acted like I was bothering and interrupting him, although it was not very busy and did not greet me nor smile. When I asked when breakfast was or where the parking was or when the airport shuttle ran, he gave me a dirty look. When I told him I had brain damage and needed him to tell me the directions to the parking slower, he didn’t slow down, just yelled them at me. Finally a customer behind me told me how to get there. The parking was atrocious. Especially since construction is going on, there should have been clear directions and instructions, but even my computer programer daughter couldn’t figure out where to go, so she called the front desk and the same unfriendly man yelled at her when she said she didn’t understand. When she asked for his name, he hung up on her! When we finally found a place to park and found a door to the hotel, we had to climb several flights of dark metal stairs, not easy because I have health issues and my daughter had just finished two days of intensive testing at Mayo! When we got into the elevator, we had to use my room”key” to push our floor. My room was dark and dreary and the bathroom mirror was mottled. My daughter asked me if I’d read the reviews and I said I hadn’t because I’d stayed at IHG hotels many times with no problem and she showed me the current ones, that showed many customers had the same problems with the front desk guy, parking , rooms etc. What also bothered me is that management has known about these issues for months and that obnoxious man-who is the “face” of this hotel- is still working there. Nor has signage been improved for parking. For the final hotel issue, when I went into the dining room in the morning to eat, I had a hard time finding a place to sit, because many of the chairs were covered in crumbs. What really gets me is that whoever answers these reviews seems not to take them seriously, writes similar insipid responses and nothing changes!

  Room smelled like it had been converted from a smoking room. Warm for hot tub and pool was ok. No coffee provided in the lobby which is now standard across the board. Game room was a nice addition!

  Starting with the positive, this hotel is close to the airport, the shuttle pickup was on-time and the drivers were friendly. However, the hotel is dated and worn, my room smelled like stale smoke, the tile in the bathroom had mold growing in it and the tub and sink drained very, very slow. I would not stay here again.

  What a crap hole. No valet. No bell hops. Parking was an absolute joke!!!! They had us park on the bottom floors of an old unsafe parking plaza a long ways from the hotel. They then have you drag your suitcases up 3-4 flights of stairs to get to a walkway to the hotel. The top floor of the parking had zero cars. No reason to not have us park there. Front desk never answered our call. Would not allow Uber Eats to deliver food. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Close to airport.

  The only good thing about this place is the location. Our flight was diverted to MN and we landed after midnight, so we needed somewhere to stay until morning. We were comfortable booking since all the other Crowne Plazas we'd stayed at in other major cities were great. The room smelled damp and moldy, and the decor was outdated and clearly not well maintained. The bathtub had rust stains all around the drain. I brought it to management's attention the next morning and they didn't seem to care ... only that they would tell maintenance. We should've left as soon as we walked in, but it was 3 am and we just needed somewhere to rest for a few hours. I will never stay here again. Attached are pictures of the actual mold on the ceiling right above the wall unit air conditioner.
