  Our room was great, continental breakfast outstanding. The pool was nice, the hot tub wasn't working 😕. Bathroom in pool area was broken, and no early check-in without a high fee 😢. The place could be great with just a few changes and a bit of work. The bed in the room was fenominal!

  Was a decent hotel. Except the hot tub was cold and the pool was even colder. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are a little dated but comfy. The morning front desk guy was very rude. But the evening desk guy was friendly and helpful.

  Tolerable not the worst I've seen definitely not great. Let's start with the positive -AC works great -Staff was very friendly -Rooms were clean -Breakfast was ok -Hot tub was hot Now the not so positives -The pool and hot tub were very cloudy -The handicap pool seats were rusty and did not look remotely safe so if you are in need of handicap access to the pool I would avoid -Carpet to the pool area is soiled black -Hallways are a little smelly Rooms however did not stink so that's a little betterI guess -Beds are very not the greatest -Room 204..... -The dresser drawer does not stay closed we kept bumping into it. -The bathroom door is warped in the bottom corner. -The ceiling in the shower looks like someone colored their hair maybe and stained it or it's mildew I'm not sure. -Shower has very low water pressure and is very low I'm 5'9" O had to duck down to wash my hair -Met a couple who was on 3rd floor the electricity went out in their room -No ice makers worked on any floor

  So after passing on this place several times, I finally pulled the trigger and made a reservation. To my surprise it exceeded all my expectations. Location is right off The highway. Rooms are quiet, large and clean. I was able to get a top floor which is a big thing for me without any issue. Malik took care of me and was outstanding. Very kind, friendly and accommodating! Check-In was a breeze and loving the included breakfast. But the icing on the cake was the fact that everywhere I go I always have to struggle to charge up my car because I drive an EV but not here!! They have five level two Tesla chargers right in front of the building and next to the front door. Couldn't ask for more! I'll be back again!!🙏🙏🙏🤟

  What a hidden gem, under the shadow of a nearby towering Hilton - a perfect irony given the way this propery outshines its competition. Best Western Bloomington W on American Dr, is situated near the junction of interstate 494 and France Ave. Following a mini meltdown I had, (that's all on me) from a botched reservation at ANOTHER hotel - a simple telephone exchange with the BW's friendly and supportive front desk agent, Latrelle, saved the day (or night!) The hotel offers rooms for immediate check in - which is so practical given the nature of travel, and most properties don't allow you to book via mobile apps for immediate reservations. It was a Saturday and nearly all hotels in the Mnpls/St. P arpt area were at capacity or refusing immediate check ins. Again great thinking and reasonable rate offered by Latrell at $150 USD/night 🌙 - though you can find online rates as low as $60 USD/night - usually weekdays. My first floor room was spic and span, with a beautiful bed spread and clean bathroom and fragrent toilerties. I didn't particularly enjoy the lack of opaque window covering, but maybe I couldn't figure out the mechanism. Room temp ideal during the recent heat wave. I fell asleep immediately and woke refreshed, slept through the complimentary breakfast - haha. Shower and tub worked as expected and towels were ultra absorbent. I requested a delayed check out and front desk gladly provided. The day manger was so sweet and receptive, she used to be the shuttle operator back in the day! I've stayed with Best Western's different banners, in my time and they provide a solid and comfortable guest experience, and a great value! Sometimes I prefer choosing a mid tier or economy brand, with the free breakfast instead of fancy flagship. Great experience at Aiden in Newark, NJ and Best West Plus in Burlington, Ontario motivated choice. I would recommend the BW Bloomington and suggest it for your next stay in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.
