I would give a 0 star, room still not cleaned and ready at 5pm. The place is old with Room full of ants and lady bugs that bites. Aggressive manager will bark at you and will make you feel unsafe and kick you right out if you talk about it and request a room change. Rude and unprofessional front desk staff as well. And lourd ac unit, Save yourself some headache.

Room - fine. Second night, extremely vulgar and profane people in room directly next door. Blaring TV. Reported to front desk. Was told “they are drinking”…..then manager did go to room and tell them to be a bit quieter. Still profane, violent words and sounds. Now feeling uncomfortable to step out of my room. Manager says if they continue I’ll call the cops, what do you want me to do? Um, these people are completely unsafe, I want them gone. Team of college athletes staying here. I’ve never felt unsafe like this at a hotel prior.

Booking.com gives it a higher rating than it deserves. The hotel is clearly showing its age with the front pieces broken off. Our room was infested with spiders. We killed 4 just the first night alone. I went to tell the front desk lady that night to see if we can switch rooms but she found it a better idea to be SLEEPING in the chair in the office instead of doing her job. No bottles of water available in the vending machine. Thankfully the lady the next morning was able to quickly give us a different room for our last night. But I respectfully wouldn’t recommend this place.

Our first room had mold or some other environmental issue that caused me to have immediate breathing problem. The front desk area had poor ventilation or AC and it looked tough for the workers. Second room better and front desk person was really nice about my concern. Substantial construction late July 2026 surrounding hotel making it very difficult to access. You need to drive through the Menards parking lot and GPS wasn’t able to re route us correctly. I would say that the condition was poorer compared to most best westerns. Does have coin laundry which is nice and also has vending machines. Convenient access to target and wal mart. Breakfast was alright with a protein option, yogurt, cereal, bagels, coffee machine. Breakfast area was ok for sitting down with a family in the morning. I contacted best western in their survey and they did reach out and were very helpful and friendly and did state that they were going to go through the first room we were assigned and address the issue. They seemed to care more than I expected them to
