We stayed for one night for our yearly family get away. First thing was the television was not working. Couldn't get any channels. Told the front desk, said they would send someone up, and no one came. Ran to the store and my adult son stayed, and still no one. I called again and finally got someone to fix it. On top of that the shades did not work. Breakfast was not very good either. Will not be staying again as when I said something at the front desk, I felt like they just blew it off like nothing.
Overall, my husband and I had a great weekend stay. There were a couple of things I would like to address. First, I've read some other reviews complaining about the glass shower door not staying closed- to remedy this, we just pushed the other side, while it didn't have a handle, you were able to use both hands on the glass to push it closed. Personally I would have liked a mirror in the room for drying my hair (there was one in the bathroom only), a celing fan and fan in the bathroom would have been nice too. The breakfast was great, the water pressure was great too. We had no problems with noise whatsoever. The cleanliness of the room was OK, the nightstand tables were kind of greasy when we got there and after going barefoot on the carpet, my feet were black. Because of the way the faucet in the bathroom was positioned, too close to the countertop, water got all over the countertop when you were using it and it eventually ran down the counter and onto the floor- we had to tuck one of their hand towels along the side of the sink to soak it up. The bed was suprisingly comfortable- I have a lot of arthritis and while sleeping away from home is always difficult, it wasn't horrible. Lots of shops and restaurants near by as well.
Excellent place to stay! The location is convenient to many cities, events and places to visit in the area. It’s just off of expressway so there is some expressway noise. The hotel in spotlessly in the room elevator and public spaces. The usual Holiday Inn breakfast was hot and delicious. The breakfast area is well managed. The coffee machine grinds the beans and brews and fresh for you. It is available 24 hours a day. The water taste good. I highly recommend stay here.

We had a good overall stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well maintained, and the room itself was comfortable and a good value for the price. It's conveniently located close enough to downtown Grand Rapids, and while you do hear some highway noise, it wasn't excessive or disruptive.
The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise—I'd give it an 8/10. There was a good variety each morning, and the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.
There were a few issues with our room that kept this from being a perfect stay. The biggest was the shower door, which wouldn't stay closed. Every time we shut it, it would slide back open, making it difficult to shower without holding the door and leaving water all over the bathroom floor. The shower area also could have used a much deeper cleaning, especially the tile, underneath the shelving, and around the shower frame.
Housekeeping was another area that could be improved. During our four-night stay, our towels were only replaced once, and the bed was never made or refreshed during our stay. While we don't expect a full deep clean every day, a bit more attention to the room would have been appreciated.
The bed was a little firmer than we prefer, but it was still comfortable enough, and the pillows were great. We also appreciated having both a pool and gym available on-site.
Overall, despite a few maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanliness issues, we enjoyed our stay. The friendly staff, clean hotel, good breakfast, and convenient location made it a worthwhile choice, and we'd happily stay here again.

I would give it zero stars right about now. Im a cross country truck driver nearby and every time my truck spends the night in the repair shop I stay here. Earlier this year I was a Diamond Member. Room 207 is directly above the above the main entrance were I shot the short video with the music blasting right under my room. I was pretty upset but respectful to the desk clerk whom yelled at me and threatened to call the police on me at 2 am this morning. Check your security cameras im the guy in the red shirt and blue hat. All night I heard music in my room. I had to check out and go back to my yard and sleep in my Suburban. I'LL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!
