  I need to preface this with the context of our stay: our power went out on a Friday evening and when it hadn’t returned the next day- we made the decision to stay here. We were far from the only ones with this idea so this hotel was fully booked/at a capacity it does not normally accommodate and we felt that. The issues to be expected with that (room not ready at 4pm for check in, a pretty picked over continental breakfast, long wait times for the elevator etc) were of no concern to us. The indoor pool is nice, the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating (especially given the circumstances). I cannot speak highly enough of the kind people that work here- they’re great, truly. All of this being said- this hotel is far too expensive for the size of the rooms, the broken elevator (been broken for months per staff), the limited option continental breakfast (which again, maybe was because of the power outage close by?), and in the 3 days we ended up staying here our room was never cleaned/touched (not a huge deal, but again at these prices that is a downside). There are nicer, more affordable options nearby. We likely will not be staying here again, just not the quality you’d expect for the cost.

  Great location surrounded by shops and restaurants. Stayed 2 nights and the room was very nice. The laundry accommodations and the fitness center were excellent as well as breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Thank you.

  Horrible management, horrible rooms. If you have any special needs or handicapped do not expect to have a pleasant stay. This place has more considerations for your pets than special needs or handicap. Contacted IHG over issues, their custom service is useless! I was told prior to check in a room that could accommodate my son's handicapped and special needs was available. Upon arrival, I was informed there was an issue with the room. I spent 4hrs between hotel management as well as speaking directly to support specialists from IGH, only to be told they can accommodate us but it was going to cost me double to triple my current reservation rate because the only other options available that also had handicapped accessible features were upgrades to what I reserved. In other words they would have rather had an empty room then to discount the room to match price my current reservation rate to provide an appropriate safe room for my son's handicap. We were already here, starving and exhausted. We ended up in the non-handicapped room and if that wasn't bad enough, we had individuals above us that were so loud, it sounded like they were holding a fight club, I made multiple complaints, was told by management they offered those people another room but they refused it. Meanwhile we're just left here to suffer. Horrible horrible experience! If you must stay at a staybrigde location, DO NOT CHOOSE WOODHAVEN. I stayed multiple times at the southgate location, never had an issue! I highly recommend you choose southgate!
