  Best Western Wood Haven — Definitely One of Our Top 5! ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Okay, Best Western Wood Haven… you did pretty darn good! 😂 This is an older hotel, but honestly, it’s CLEAN, comfortable, and has a really friendly atmosphere. The young lady at the front desk was absolutely SUPER! So sweet, helpful, and accommodating. She deserves a raise just for putting up with travelers like us! 😂❤️ Now let’s talk housekeeping… because apparently our room went into witness protection. 😂 We stayed for 3 days and never had our room serviced. The crazy part is we would see housekeeping working late, so we were definitely confused about why our room was being skipped. We eventually just started replacing our own towels. We even left a tip for housekeeping, thinking, “Surely they'll get the hint!” 😂 Nope! We came back from working and the tip was still sitting there and the room looked exactly like we left it. At least we knew nobody was stealing our stuff! 😂 Even with that, the room was still great, clean, and comfortable. The hotel restaurant, however… NOPE. 👎😂 That wasn't exactly a highlight of the stay. There isn't a laundry room at the hotel, but they were nice enough to let us use the laundry facilities next door at the Holiday Inn since they're owned by the same people. That was actually a HUGE help and we really appreciated it! Overall, we really liked this hotel. We've stayed at a LOT of Best Westerns while traveling, and this one honestly made it into our Top 5 Best Westerns! ❤️ Older hotel? Yep. Perfect? Nope. Clean and comfortable with friendly people? ABSOLUTELY! We'd definitely stay here again! 😊

  Terrible Hotel to stay at. Filthy is an understatement. Soon as I walk in there was a terrible foul smell. the hallways and stairs to get in my room were very smelly and dirty. Blood stains on the cover and the sheets. dirty bathroom. It's truly sad that I booked this hotel. the 3 plus star out of 5 is very misleading for the 100 bucks per night. My wife begged us to leave with our 4 children. we ended up going next door to the Staybridge Suites Hotel that blew this bestwestern crap garbage hotel out of the water. Please if you have a family stay at a better hotel. Well worth the money. All the front clerk could do is apologize but I made this review to ensure that nobody's goes thru with what I went thru that day. God bless. Happy Travels. 7/13/2026

  They allow pet's. No Free breakfast but you can always sneak over to the holiday inn next door. Same owner lol

  I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Everything I was told over the phone before booking turned out to be inaccurate. I was told breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast. There was no room service, and the room did not have basic amenities like shampoo or soap. I also booked what was described as a king bed, but it was not as advertised. We were asked to leave the pool earlier than expected, and the staff were not friendly or welcoming. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.
