The Avid used to be my absolute favorite Hotel ever!! I would book this hotel every other weekend in the past. Recently I stayed on June 11th, and that probably will be my last time staying at the Avid. Check in went pretty smooth. I paid a cash deposit for the room. In the past I was double charged for a deposit when I used my card, so I just use cash deposits. When I used cash this time I had $20 less than the $250 cash deposit. I didn’t have change, so the receptionist made me put down a $300 cash deposit. I did get it back the next day. The bathroom to my room was not cleaned. There was feces in the toilet of my room. I was switched to a different room, but it made me think what else hasn’t been cleaned in the room? That was very disgusting and unacceptable. The breakfast is normally pretty good. My experience normally is great, but this time fell short.

Mitchell was very polite, down to earth and accommodating. I mean above and beyond! My room was nice and considerably clean. Very quiet area.. I would definitely return. Breakfast was great as well. Everything was fresh and clean.

Great staff- manager is awesome, everyone is super friendly. Location is very convenient with ample parking. Pillows are my only real complaint. Good for solo people on short trips.

This is my go to place when I come into town to visit my family. Great location, spotless rooms, fair price A special mention to Tammy in housekeeping, who did an amazing job of keeping my room spotless - She is a star employee
