I really like Holiday Inn Expresses; I don't know that I've ever been let down by one, and this one did not disappoint. I stayed for 2 nights with my family. Check-in was immediate, seamless, and friendly. The room was clean and well-stocked. Breakfast was as good as I've come to expect from modern hotels with a breakfast included. The pool was clean, a good temperature, had a functional hot tub, and my family enjoyed it. The workout facility that I was hoping to use was small, but looked clean and reliable. Everything was far better for the price I paid at this hotel than at the Hampton Inn in Ludington that I stayed at the next night for twice the price of this hotel. I will continue to stay at and recommend Holiday Inn Express.

As a 57 year old person, who stays in IHG (3 nights at other Holiday Inn just this month of July 2026), is a IHG member and card holder, I can honestly say that this was my worst hotel experience of my LIFE. We did make the mistake of booking through a third party as their price was considerably better than direct with IHG. Ofcourse they put you in the worst room in the hotel (punishment for booking with third party). Right next to the elevator and the loudest ice maker this side of the Mississipi. Room looked unfinished. As in there was a large empty area by the window with a lot of wall damage as if furniture was removed. First night, very loud TV noise in room 323 (we were 321) as if volume all the way up (extra base) and THX Star Wars soundtrack going. My wife tried calling the front desk at 10:45 pm from the hotel phone...it was inoperable or not hooked up. Front desk guy, Nick, explained that it was not quiet hour yet and that she should go knock on the neighbors door and that he was not going to do anything about it. At 11:15, I got up, got dressed and went downstairs to the fron desk. Funny, I saw a posting next to elevator of the quiet hour at 10 PM and took a picture of it. Nick lied that he did not know that quiet hour was 10 PM. He said he would go check up on it in about an hour when he does his rounds. Nothing changed until 2 AM when the movie was over. Next night, we got to listen to the news chanel next door ALL night. This day (he was off the prior days) I spoke with the magager, Christopher Poland, and he appologized for the mishandling, asked why we did not book direct with IHG, and explained that he would get us some IHG points to make up for the trouble. Night three it was quiet....yay. However, after returning to our room later that day, we see that our room was not serviced. All our towels were still on the floor in bathroom, bed not make, no replacement coffee cups. Went downstairs to complain about no service of the room and was told by front desk that this was not his problem but housekeeping's mistake. Asked for service, and was told that housekeeping had gone home for the day. Night 4 was loud TV noise from the other side (room 319) until well after midnight. My advice is find another hotel. The walls may be paper thin (and there in nothing that can or will be done about this) but also the front desk and management does not care. OH...three days later...no points have shown up on my IHG account.

If you want a quiet night sleep, DO NOT stay here. We booked 4 nights to come back and take care of family funeral arrangements. Night #1 : 10:40pm the room next to us turns on private subwoofer/bluetooth speaker - LOUD! I attempted to call front desk, but the in room phone did not work. I looked up phone number and called from cell phone. Rang a good 30x before “nick” answers. He said quiet time was 11, even though all signage posted said 10. He told me to go know on their door and confront the offenders. Seriously? we have it another hour, my husband went to the front desk. Nick was totally unprofessional and did nothing about the situation. The loud noise went on until 1am. Not acceptable. We told the front desk in the morning. He said the manager isn’t around for a couple days. Worried about night #2!

Very wonderful hotel. Was clean and well kept. The pool area was nice. The staff was friendly. Peggy is an amazing person who makes sure your breakfast is served every morning. I enjoyed her talking to me and my family. The only complaint I have is the walls seem to be thin so you can hear your neighbors. The doors are loud when they close. We had I believe a drunk man in the room next to us in which was being ungodly so loud all night long, we had to call front desk. The young man who came down that night did an amazing job taking care of the situation for us and the other guests. I forgot your name, but thank you. I would recommend staying here for anyone looking. We definitely will be back.
