I never stayed at this hotel to know.if the service was good or bad. I have someone coming from out of town a d I wanted to make sure it wasn't scuzzy.
Room I saw was clean, Lobby was very clean I checked out the pool it was very nice as well. Normal size pool, not hot tub size.
Breakfast was $10 if you add it to your hotel bill otherwise I think she told me $15.
Per night she said it would be nearly $200 per nite, but the person staying there said they might be able to get it cheaper.
Either way, it was very nice, very clean, and very reasonable.
I have enjoyed my stay here at Holiday Inn, Troy, MI. The staff and management team made our weekend great! Shout out to the Manager - Monica, who embodies the best attributes of leadership and teamwork. We will be back guys, thanks sooooo much.

Out of all the places to spend a night at, I'm glad that I went with Holiday Inn. Everyone that works here is so nice and willing to create small talk. They provided a welcoming stay that has been the best I've had in some time when it comes to hotels. The rooms were well cleaned and maintained.
The food at toast to toast, their in house restaurant, is pretty meh. Not the best I've had, but also not the fault of the people working.
Regardless, loved it here and would consider staying again.
I had a wonderful experience @ Holiday Inn & Suites Detroit/Troy. Although there was a minor incident during my stay, it was handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention. A special thank you Ms. Monica (Mgr), Ms. Judy (Eatery), and Ms. Lilian (Front Desk) for their kindness, responsiveness, and dedication to guest satisfaction. Their warm hospitality and teamwork truly made a difference and turned the situation into a positive experience.
Thank you to the entire team for providing outstanding service. I truly appreciate your professionalism and look forward to staying with you again. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️😊😊😊

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn while attending the Lucky Fin Festival. The room was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The beds and bedding were honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Aside from seeing my daughter have such an amazing time at the festival, being able to return to such a comfortable room each night made a huge difference.
The food was good, and the French toast was delicious. Mark was especially kind and attentive during breakfast. He kept the area clean, cleared our dishes, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for after traveling.
Carol also went above and beyond. She noticed that our sofa bed did not have sheets and offered to bring us fresh linens without us even having to ask. That small act of attentiveness meant a lot.
The next morning, JD was running the kitchen by himself and doing a great job. He was warm, gracious, and welcoming despite handling everything on his own.
Renita at the bar was amazing. Even though some ingredients were unavailable, she worked with what she had and made us excellent drinks. Her customer service was truly a 10 out of 10. She was so kind and personable that we came back later for more drinks.
On our final morning, Judy made a lasting impression. She was warm and engaging and shared stories about her nephew, who also has a Lucky Fin. Since we were there for the festival, that conversation felt especially meaningful and left us feeling inspired.
The fitness room was great, and overall the hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The only issue was that the pool had a strange smell that should be looked into. It would also be helpful to keep the bar fully stocked so the staff have everything they need to do their jobs at their highest level.
Overall, we had a great stay. Mark, Carol, JD, Renita, and Judy each made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Their warmth, attentiveness, and excellent customer service made our experience even better. I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was absolutely worth recognizing.
