  The hotel was clean, and the staff was not bad overall\. However, there was a serious issue that completely ruined our stay. We were on a week\-long road trip, and unfortunately, we stayed at this hotel for both our first and last nights. Skunks were everywhere around the property, and the smell was extremely strong\. We could barely sleep throughout the entire night because of the terrible odor. On top of that, the rooms were not well insulated from outside noise, We could hear everything happening outside, which made the stay even more uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. While the cleanliness was acceptable, the combination of the skunk odor and excessive noise made our experience very unpleasant. Unfortunately, we would not book this hotel again

  Very clean, modern .Price was good. Room was very clean and comfortable bed. Great location! Great service at front disk especially from Hazel she deserve more than 10 stars. she was smiling all time. FATIN The made supervisor deserve 100 stars and her team they where so amazing, Friendly welcoming team. greeting and welcoming us with worm smile make us feel we are at home.I highly recommended.

  This is my second time in this hotel. 1st time had good experience. This time, we arrived at 3:20 pm but we couldn't check in because the room was not ready although the check in should be at 3 pm. We waited for 15 minutes, then we have been told it could take 30 minutes. This is very inconvenience.

  Had a wonderful stay here at the Sterling Heights Holiday Inn Express, the room we checked into did not offer all of the amenities that we required and Lance the gentleman at the front desk made switching to a quick and painless, excellent customer service.
