  Stayed here for my sons birthday, the jets in the private room jacuzzi blew out chunky sludge onto us. They offered to clean it (at night during our one night stay, taking up our short time there for something that should have never happened and should have already been clean by his own words)), they offered to move rooms (taking up time from our stay that ended in the am, we would have to pack move rooms and unpack at night before leaving in the morning, I also didn’t trust that that rooms jacuzzi would be clean), since I did not like those offers they applied a 20% discount and that was all they would do to “rectify” the situation. Unacceptable. In the am, when we went to leave, the halls were filled with construction materials. We could not even get a cart through. Each time we carried bags out, we were tripping on materials as they yelled at eachother and scooted things. Each time we walked past they filled the halls again. 3 times we walked through and they refilled it so it was bad when we came back through. Do not stay at IHG hotels. As a whole. We had a bad stay, and made a complaint and they said “it’s under our name but not our hotel, we have to back any decisions they made” they will not resolve the issue, I have all the messages. It’s obnoxious. This is their policy, names on hotels that they do not manage or control, no standards to be met. it’s a free for all. My sons birthday stay was ruined. In multiple ways. And they bullied me into accepting 20% off as consolation for a ruined experience I cant even try to recreate. Sucks when you save up to do something special for your kid and corporate greed and laziness ruin it. I’m so sad.

  Stayed here a couple nights on a recent trip. It's a nice hotel right on the lake. We had an end room with lake view and the sunsets were beautiful.

  We enjoyed our stay. We were in the balcony king, with a lake view. The room was the biggest I have ever stayed in. It was really worth the price. The hotel is going through renovation. There are many rough areas, but the room We stayed in was freshly redone. We would stay here again.
