  Sarah was absolutely amazing when we checked in getting us extra pillows and being so sweet to our service dog and our family. Ron was equally awesome in the morning when we checked out. Best service so far on our road trip across the country!

  Did not like the fact that holiday in charge is extra fees. Now for wifi and everything else. If they were going to do that, I would expect him to add it into the price for the room. My company hey for my room, but Holiday Inn wanted cash out of my pocket. My company also pays for incidental, but alexand made me pay out of my pocket. I did not like this. Sounds like more of the let's rip the customer off for more money.The thing that's going around today. I may choose to stay somewhere else next time. Because of this.

  Was there April 24th, 2026. I asked for a late checkout around 1130pm. She asked me what time "12-1?" And she said we can do 1. She looked up our info, and realized that I'm a diamond member so she put me down for 2pm checkout. I was so happy for a late checkout!! I wanted to help the housekeeper, so I made sure to strip the bedding, bag all the trash, and make sure that the towels were in the bathroom. (Room #114) Hands down, this is the best (imo) hotel that Port Huron has to offer. DoubleTree is great too, but no breakfast (unless you wanna pay for it) and it can be very pricey. I was not impressed with Hampton and Baymont by Wyndham. Kids running down the hallway, pools looked disgusting, and Baymont had no elevator and no ice maker.

  The door to my room was unlocked -propped open with the deadbolt- and there was someone's used tissues in the bathroom trash can and a gob of hair stuck to the wall of the shower. Gross. The room is freezing cold because the AC was left running full blast in here despite it being 32° outside. The cheap carpet has come un-glued from the floor and it crunches under my feet. I checked in around 1am and the woman working the desk had a rude, unpleasant demeanor. I forgot my phone charger and asked if the hotel had one that I could borrow overnight (as some hotels do) and she snapped at me that she has one but I can't borrow it... because she apparently thought that I was asking to borrow her own personal phone charger. The bed looks clean and is pretty comfy though. It's not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, just the worst Holiday Inn Express.
