- AMAntenna Man4 days ago2.0Although the property was undergoing a remodeling at the time of my visit, that was managed fairly well. The check in procedure was terrible; the attendant spoke very little English, nodded in agreement to anything I said, but delivered the minimal service. She was unable to process the check in without several references to someone else who knew what they were doing, she made several errors that lasted throughout my visit with key programming, and did not refer to membership status or reward points. The property is well located and the pricing during the property refurbishment was priced well, the overall experience was very poor for an HIE property. Most employees were of eastern European background and spoke little conversational English. The property needs a lot more oversight and guidance from the franchisor.

On the day I was going to have a late check out, before I went to my all day meeting, the manager said I would be charged a full night if I wasnt out by 3pm and they said they tried to call me, however, I did not have any. Missed calls nor was anything under my room door about the surprise change of plans. So unprofessional and scamming.

They said to give them 10 minutes for housekeeping to clean our room. We waited a half hour and our room still wasn't ready. We ended up cancelling our reservation and booking a room with Home2Suites right around the corner. We arrived five minutes after booking our room and guess what, our room was ready. We were still charged for the room. We are now fighting with Priceline and our credit card company to get the money back for a room we never stayed in.
