I didnt have high expectations for this hotel but feel they could do better in some areas. First for the positives: friendly staff, fresh cookies at check in, good location with a 5 min drive downtown or about a 30 min walk, top floor balcony had good views of the bay, high pressure shower heads, clean bathrooms, spacious rooms, larger fridges, and a microwave. Now for what needs addressed: sheets and mattress covers were stained. They used queen size sheets and covers on a king bed which obviously would not stay in place. The balcony chairs were rough and rusted. The floors had stains. The light on the balcony is on all the time and the drapes do not block it well to make the room dark. This place did offer great sunset views.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms are very clean and was super affordable for the week. Staff is super friendly! The beach and downtown is like a 6 min drive which is also great!

Such a cute and honestly really charming place to stay right near downtown! The people at the desk were welcoming and had a list of places to eat nearby ready to go. The room was spacious and with a balcony. 10/10 I would absolutely stay here again.

Disappointing stay. My family was here for 3 days in early August. Breakfast was average and access to downtown was convenient. The hotel was generally clean but dingy. Our room had stains on the carpet in the room and on the patio. The patio was uninviting with a rusted a/c unit. The bathroom/shower was cramped, outdated, and dingy, and the water was either piping hot or freezing cold. The room was so humid that everything felt damp. Employees were bickering at front desk often and then camped outside door 1 smoking all the time - felt like you were entering a dirty old lounge. Pool had so much chlorine you couldn't be in the area more than 20 min before your eyes were burning. On the day we checked out a cart was parked right in front of our room 2 hours before checkout making it hard to get luggage out of the room. Then an employee was literally just standing outside my door an hour BEFORE check out watching me carry everything- never offering to hold a door - looking annoyed that I was taking so long to vacate the room. When I went to the front desk to tell them the problem, the lady working was extremely rude when all she needed to do was apologize for her mistake. I was traveling with my parents in their mid-80s and my young son. I had to carry/load everything and it was SUPER unpleasant to have them hovering and shoving us out the door an hour before checkout time. Overall impression: WAY overpriced for an outdated 2 star hotel with rude staff.

Friendly and helpful staff - Renee got me two rooms side by side, day of. The hotel is a touch dated, but that adds to the charm. Super clean and the rooms were so large! Loved loved loved the balconies with bay views. Our room’s shower (#211) also had the most impressive water pressure ever. We got a late check out and the staff was so nice about it, and the housekeeper gave us the kindest send off. Def recommend!
