  When I got there, a note was taped on the door saying they just fixed the water. The next day my key would not let me in and went to the front desk and waited for 15 minutes still no one around, so I walked to the kitchen and asked if anyone was working the front counter and a lady said she was. Fixed my key and walked into my room and it was 75 degrees and the thermostat was blank / broken. I called to tell them, they responded by saying the maintenance will fix it. Went to dinner came back and still wasn't fixed. They said it won't be fixed till tomorrow. I'm not sleeping in a hotel room in the middle of summer that I paid good money for without AC. I told them to cancel the rest of my nights and went next store. They didn't even offer to move me to a different room. HORRIBLE Service here, DO NOT STAY HERE!

  Myself, husband and 2 children stayed here June 19-20 and then again, today June 25-26. The first visit was seamless although my kids were disappointed by the pool closure during our first night. We were traveling to Manistee Michigan to break up our trip to and from Pittsburgh. This is a dog friendly hotel, some of the rooms have a lot of pet dander residue left over and our first room on the second stay reeked of wet dog and tons of pet fur that wasn't properly cleaned. Staff immediately changed our room or offered a full refund. Amazing customer service. We greatly appreciated the accommodations without issue.

  Recently stayed June 19-21 and when I arrived there was a sign that stated that their pool is closed until further notice. I guess recently there was a storm that way and something happened to their pool pump I was disappointed because I wanted to go swimming with my children. I had said to the front desk clerk that had I would have know I would have booked somewhere else. I was tired I said well I am here I will stay here tonight but I would like to cancel my stay for tomorrow. So I felt bad because she looked sad and I said I tell you what I will stay but can you discount the room because I did not know. She wrote my information down and everything. You know how hotel rooms put a hold on the room for damages? Well they releases my funds. But that was it nothing extra for the pool situation and other things. Like I found dirty sock in my room that did not belong to us. The cold water was not running at the bathroom faucet. I called to see why they did not discount the room. They said that-that happened on the 16th and that I booked my room on the 17th and that they had an announcement stating that their pool was closed on their website. I know for a fact that I never saw that it was not even in my reservation email either. I called back and asked if their pool is still down and they said it was and I have pictures to prove that they did not announce it. You might have zoom in I made sure the date is up there. So don't book there if you plan to swim. They are not kind or helpful to their customers instead they try to find ways to outsmart them.
