  kurt and his staff are the best, I stay here for a year a t a time being a project manager for large sites on MSU facilities, rooms are clean, location is the best, you can bring your pets. they make sure that people pick up after their pets also, the pool area is the best. and once again, best location possible if your in the Lansing area

  Upon arrival of our one night stay, (and a five minute wait for anyone to be at the front counter) the attendant came from around the corner and stared at me blank faced like I should have known how to check MYSELF in. No hello, no welcome...just "Reservation?" we got keys and headed to the "NON SMOKING ROOM" I reserved, but we could SMELL the room from the outside. We went in and it was DISGUSTINGLY bad in there. So bad that even our clothes smelled like smoke and we were in the room for about 1 minute before heading to the front desk... ...where she was gone again. THIS time with two other parties waiting. So after another long wait, we got the room switched, she said, "the staff should have told them it was non smoking." What staff? I only saw the front desk lady the WHOLE TIME we were there! On our way to our new room, we saw piles of trash and dirty linen in the hallways..that were STILL there when we checked out the next day! Every 10 feet along the hall was a new horrible smell. Anyway the new room was decent aside from almost NO water pressure in the shower (literally trickling out of the shower head.) and the TV didnt work. If anything was positive, the standard hotel fare breakfast was well stocked, clean and the eating space was comfortable and clean. So in terms of value, I essentially paid $155 for a standard hotel breakfast. I cannot recommend this place even for a one night stay.

  It wasn't awful but it was great. They had a storm before before we arrived. But none of the outside were on. We had a heck of a time find the office. The person at the desk acted like we were bothering her. Told us to go outside at the other end of the building and unload in the rain. I would have rather unloaded under the roof in in the front. It just wasn't a very friendly staff. But we really did have a nice time there. The room was clean. However for a suite it had paper thin walls. I would return to the motel. For the most part it was a nice clean motel.

  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON STAYING HERE! Only doing 5 stars so this review appears towards the top for everyone considering staying here. Room had black mold on the curtains in the room, the carpet was wet, hair in the shower, poop on the toilet seat, food crumbs all over the floor and the ceiling was leaking a brown watery substance all over the bed. Room and hallway smelled like mildew and fermented urine. Got moved from the first room and second room had the same things going on except for the leaking ceiling and black mold. Absolutely disgusting in this place. If you like to waste your money and lose sleep because of how filthy this place is go ahead and book with them.

  Doors to the outside were unlocked and anyone could enter. People were coming in and out all night, doors slamming. The washers in the laundry room were full of damp clothes that were not removed for 2 days. Room was dirty. There was tape on the walls which looked like they were leftover from a party, the windows had spiderwebs, the office chair was completely worn and cracking upholstery, shower had hair on the walls, sheets were white but there were spots of yellowish throughout. I would never stay here again. It felt dirty and unsafe. The only redeeming quality was the woman who checked me in and out.
