The falls are very nice and the surrounding forest creates a mystical fairytale atmosphere. Loved reading the information about plants and trees. There is an admission fee but understandably so - the place needs to be kept up in good order. We liked the gift shop, too. It has a lot of things to choose from.

Horseshoe Falls is an amazing stop and well worth the visit! The falls are beautiful, but there is so much more to enjoy. The kids had a blast searching for gnomes during the scavenger hunt and loved playing on the giant chess set. We also made a wish in the wishing well and fed the trout, which made the experience even more memorable. It was a fun stop for the whole family, and we'd definitely recommend adding it to your Munising itinerary!

$12 entrance fee to see a waterfall. That's insane to me. Was pretty to see a spring fed waterfall, but not worth $12. Plenty of free waterfalls in the area that are better.

Friendly staff, cool gifts and yummy ice cream! Entry fee on 7/13/26 was $12 a person. The waterfall is beautiful and so were the plants and trail. I loved the gnome hunt and the plaques giving info about native plants.
