  I travel alot and stay atleast 10 nights a month at IHG hotels across the country. This is one of the cleanest and friendliest I have ever visited. I have saved this hotel for my next trip through Michigan, thank you for a great and pleasant stay.

  Very nice and very clean. Front desk young lady Callina jumped in and helped me when my son got hurt. She didn’t have to but went above and beyond.

  Good location. Parking lot is easy to navigate. Helpful, friendly staff. The female desk attendant with glasses was incredible. She was not only kind but very professional and accommodating. There is an indoor as well as outdoor pool. The fitness center is quite spacious. Cardio equipment as well as dumbbells are available for guests to use. There is an outside patio area in an enclosed fence. The breakfast is an all you can eat buffet for a nominal fee. My husband and I enjoyed a restful night’s sleep in a spacious room. Our room opened into a nice living/sitting area, containing a flat screen television, sofa, and work station. From here, our room continued to a small counter with microwave and mini fridge. A nice size bathroom was situated adjacent to the counter, which led into a spacious bedroom. Definitely recommend staying here!

  If I could, I would give zero for the stars. I made a reservation last night for 8//5/26 checking out on 8/6/26. I received an email confirmation within seconds of entering my payment information. Unfortunately, 20 hours later I learned I needed to cancel this reservation. The email confirmation I received states I have 24 hours to cancel my reservation. I have spent the last hour trying to cancel my reservation. The person at this hotel location could not help me cancel my reservation. I asked to speak with a manager. I was subsequently transferred to a general "customer service" representative who told me she canceled my reservation and that I would receive an email confirmation of the cancelation. 10 minutes went by and no cancelation email has been received. I called the hotel back in Mount Pleasant and explained the situation. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes while the manager was being contacted regarding my situation. After 15 minutes, I was told the manager is unavailable. It SHOULD NOT be this difficult to cancel a reservation within 24 hours of making it. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again. Sadly, I see Staybridge Suites is part of this racket. I have stayed at Staybridge Suites many times in the past and loved them. However, given this experience. I will never stay there either. This IHG hotel conglomerate is a JOKE of a hospitality industry company. I will be contacting the Michigan Attorney General to inform them of this unacceptable business. UPDATE 8/1/26: I received an email from Holiday Inn & Suites stating I have reservations for 9/16/26. I did not make this reservation. When I called to dispute, I was told I have six reservations for this date. What a mess. IHG websites, reservations are a disaster. I will most definitely never use them again. Now wasting more time trying to figure out how and why I have additional reservations with them. Phone rep is telling me these additional reservations were made using my IHG account. This is a MESS. I will NEVER reserve a room with or stay at an IHG hotel. *I just learned most IHG hotels are independently-owned. STAY AWAY from this one in Mount Pleasant. Total scam and now I have several reservations which I DID NOT make.
