- CJChristian Johnston2 days ago5.0We stayed three nights at this very busy hotel in Marquette, MI this week. To a fault every employee was extremely friendly and asked how our stay was going. Housekeeping was great. Front desk check in and check out were very welcoming. Bar staff very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only comment is I’d prefer a stronger shower pressure but not a deal breaker. This hotel has a very dedicated group of employees who made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend this holiday inn.

- KWKendal Weston-SmithJul 15, 20261.0The front manager, Karen or Tracey was extremely rude. I was told MQT was one of the nicest places to visit, small town vibe, a lot of welcome locals. So I had this unrealistic expectation. We come in, get checked in and I asked if anyone could help with our luggage. Tracey said with a groan "get your own cart." I explained that we were staying as I just got out of hip surgery and cannot travel yet. My husband just had a triple bypass. She looked right at another worker and said "I guess I'll get your shit then!" I've never felt so much like an inconvenience. I'm always very good at taking care of myself and it took a lot of courage for me to ask for help. She then slammed each bag into the cart dramatically. I wish I would have had the energy to leave. We stayed one night and booked at another location which I am going to give the raving review it deserves. Train or fire that horrible human.

It’s been newly refurbished and extremely comfortable in the rooms including the beds. I was very impressed because Holiday Inn has not been my choice. I usually stay at Marriott first and then secondly Hilton. However, it was far less expensive than either one in this area. And Holiday Inn is exceptional in Marquette.
