  Nice hotel. Restaurant isn't open unfortunately. Clean. Quiet even next to freeway. Fast elevator. Decent pricing.

  IHG Gold Elite member here. Do NOT book this hotel. I had a confirmed reservation for May 3–5. My flight landed May 4th at 6 AM — within my booking dates. The hotel cancelled my reservation as a "no-show" without any notice — no call, no email, nothing. I was stranded at 6 AM with nowhere to go. Then they charged me again at the front desk to rebook the same room. No refund from anyone — not the hotel, not the booking platform. They kept my money AND made me pay twice. There is nothing in the booking terms — from IHG, Expedia, or the third-party platform — stating a check-in deadline. Even IHG's own no-show policy only allows a one-night penalty, not full cancellation plus, double charging. The hotel violated their own policy. It gets worse. That same night, an intoxicated woman was roaming the lobby and parking lot grabbing at guests' phones and trying to open car doors. She physically pulled my jacket trying to snatch my phone. My partner and I couldn't safely enter the hotel for two hours. The front desk staff? Sitting there chatting with her. Did nothing. Police were called but the woman hid. Hotel's response to my complaint? Zero. I am pursuing this through legal counsel under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, and filing complaints with IHG corporate, the Michigan Attorney General, and the BBB. This hotel will cancel your paid reservation, double charge you, and ignore your safety. Stay anywhere else.

  I wasn’t even going to write this review. I was going to let it go. It happened approximately 3 to 4 weeks ago. I found a lot of trash in my room that the cleaning staff apparently had missed when I alerted the staff. They acted as if I was bothering them to get it cleaned up so basically I cleaned it up myself then something was wrong with the plumbing something in the bathroom overflowed I had to have them come and fix that the hotel just wasn’t in very good shape This is some of the trash that was under the bed and as you can see the carpets we’re not very clean

  I was really disappointed with my stay. While the lobby is beautiful and gives a great first impression, the rooms do not live up to it at all. Our room was not clean upon arrival—there was hair in the shower and visible trash, dust, and dirt throughout the room, which immediately made us uncomfortable. The room was also freezing and never warmed up properly, making it hard to relax. Several amenities were either misrepresented or inconvenient. The hot tub was out of service; we were told only the jets were down and that we could still sit in warm water, but it wasn’t functioning at all. We also had to be let into the pool each time, which we were not informed about ahead of time and found inconvenient. Breakfast was another frustration. We were told it ran until 11:00 a.m., but it actually ended at 10:00. We missed it by five minutes despite having prepaid, which felt unfair and poorly communicated. The staff were mostly polite, though some interactions felt curt and not particularly welcoming. Overall, between the cleanliness issues, outdated rooms, broken amenities, and miscommunication, the stay did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.
