  Serivce was good, room was clean. Upsetting was I was told the pool was heated and warm, that was a lie. The pool temputre was less than a warm bath ,the husband and I had a grandbaby with us whole intentions was letting her swim, that didd not happen . I would suggest the employees temp the pool for accuracy.

  The beds were fantastic, not too hard not too soft. And clean! The sheets, multiple styles of pillows, just great! The water pressure in the shower was nice as well. One of the women at the front desk, Karina, was so kind and went out of her way to help me after a very long day. Top notch customer service. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurts, eggs, cereals, and the hot options varied daily. Fresh ground by the cup coffee was available all day and there were always folks gathering in the comfortable and spacious breakfast area throughout the day to play cards or watch tv, work, read. This will definitely be my go to spot when I’m in Jackson.

  I booked a reservation here and was not told the this hotels wifi does not work and has not been working since a storm several weeks back. They did not disclose this to me willingly, and in fact tried to take my payment before mentioning any lack of amenities on advance of my stay. They also tried to overcharge me by $50 upon arrival, despite my booking 2 weeks in advance through IHG for a set price. It took an hour to clear up the discrepancy in the lobby with the hotel receptionist. She told me to contact the manager Michelle at 8:30 am the following morning. The assistant manager Abigail answered the phone and was very courteous-sounding but don't be fooled, she was deliberately unhelpful in offering any type of discount or apology for the inconvenience despite my being on a business trip in which I travel with my laptop, and part of the appeal in booking at this hotel was due to its advertised high speed wifi. Abigail in fact refused to let me share my grievances with the manager Michelle whom was in office at the time of my calling, and furthermore cancelled my reservations immediately stating her fear that I may rate this hotel poorly. Therefore I was stuck scrambling having to try and find/book a new hotel and restaurant reservation for my son and my family last minute that we had been looking forward to for 2 weeks. Fortunately I found the best rates, with a suite, a kitchen, plush hairs, a dining room table, stove, tv, high speed wifi and a heated pool at the Townsplace suites by Marriot, Jackson. Google them, you won't be disappointed. Abigail actually did me a great favor. My plans tonight are to enjoy his hotel and some great food at One North Kitchen and Bar which is right around the bend. I'm so happy Abigail cancelled my family, and the 2 other rooms that we booked. I am happy how it all turned out. Sometimes there are blessings in what seems like a letdown. Iwould have given this hotel 0 stars if I could. Book with Marriot instead, if you're ever in Jackson and need a great place to stay.
