  The hotel is very tired, especially the rooms. I was turned off by mold In the bathroom. Also, the mattress was worn out and felt very old and uncomfortable. Just a sheet and a paper, thin blanket with no additional blankets or covers. There was no coffee maker in the room you had to walk, not far to the lobby building. The lobby area was pretty nice with a nice waiting room and dining area offering the same typical continental breakfast.

  This hotel is OLD!, and NOT cared for! ...and should be SHUT DOWN!!! The bricks are even falling off the building! We walked into our room and all we could smell was deoderizer trying to cover cigerette smoke. Tried to make a cup of coffee, but the coffee machine was a cheap little toy and the coffee packets were bottom of the barrel. But the worst and most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a hotel... after sitting (bouncing because it was just springs, no support or comfort) on the matress, I picked up the pillow and it had a large dried blood stain on it!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! When I told my wife we were LEAVING, she went to the front desk and they said that they didn't even have a clean replacement pillow case!!! Avoid this gross place at all costs!

  Dirty rooms, yellow towels and the pool was green and black 🤢 you could actually see the bacteria on top of the water. It was insane

  Wow, what an amazing stay. Literally the BEST Best Western I have ever stayed at. The staff was amazing from top to bottom. Rick, at the front desk was so accommodating, helpful, and generous with his time. There was never an issue we might have had that he could not figure out or get resolved. If you got a problem, yo, he’ll solve it. The ladies at this location, Kelly, Shar, Becky, Paulin and Fay we’re also equally attentive to our needs and made us feel as if we were not at a hotel, but a second home. As for the housekeepers, mind blown!🤯 These ladies know what they’re doing, and they are not shy about it at all. Cheryl, Andrea, Tracy and Mariah kept this place so clean and so comfortable. We literally had nothing to do ourselves as far as clean-ups are concerned. I know this review sounds cheesy, and some of you might even think it staged, or I was put up to saying these things. The truth is all of these words are my own and spoken from my experience staying at this best Western in Heartland, Michigan. If you’re ever in town, give them a look. They’re right off of 23 and M59, and are here to make your overnight adventures a little bit more comfortable.

  We were on a road trip and chose this hotel as an overnight stop. We checked in around midnight, intending to stay for just one night. Unfortunately, the room had a very strong and unpleasant smell. I’m not sure whether it was from cigarette smoke, an old carpet, or something else, but the odor was extremely noticeable and made the room uncomfortable. Normally, I would have asked to change rooms, but given the circumstances, that wasn’t practical. We had been driving all day and were exhausted. The reception area is also quite far from the actual rooms, and by the time we finally checked in, it was already well past midnight. We managed to spend the night, but this was by far one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. We reported the issue to the receptionist the following morning when we checked out. They noted the complaint, and I hope the issue is addressed so that future guests do not have the same experience. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay.
