  The hotel is great all around and the desk help from Ethan yesterday was amazing helpful and friendly. Sadly customer service went down the drain years ago. As someone who has 16 years of costumer service, i know good service when i get it. The rooms were clean and smelled great and had plenty of extras you needed. Pool area was very enjoyable, nice hot tub and even a pool table. Which the wife and I enjoyed in the evening. Even had one of the better breakfasts ive had at a hotel.

  While I didn’t get to stay here at this property, I am very happy with the service Megan provided at the Grandville Holiday Inn location. I was desperate to find a hotel in the middle of the night and Megan did not hesitate to call around for me since their hotel was fully booked. She was vey kind and sympathetic to my situation. I will be happy to book a stay here in the future knowing the care the staff provides, even for those who are not guests. Thank you again Megan!

  We have been staying at this hotel for four years now, and would not stay anywhere else. Our daughter is now a senior at GVSU. She's in the marching band, so we've stayed here on football and concert weekends. This hotel is the perfect distance to the campus, to multiple restaurants and to shopping. The staff is incredible: thoughtful, kind and friendly. From the free fresh popped popcorn, to cookies and banana bread in our room with mints, to accommodating our sometimes crazy requests, this hotel goes above and beyond. It's clean, comfortable, inviting, and affordable. We are sad that our daughter is a senior because we are truly going to miss staying here on GVSU football weekends.

  I don't normally leave reviews, but I had a great experience here. After being told by another hotel chain that starts with an M, that they accidentally overbooked and had no other options, I rolled into this HIE at 11:45pm frustrated, and was greeted by the lovely Ashley at the desk. She was so kind and understanding, made sure I got a great room even though it was so last minute. She helped make a bad night so much more tolerable with her great attitude and quick service (we also share the same name so that got a good chuckle). In the morning, all the staff was also super friendly. If all IHG properties copy and pasted this staff, I'd switch loyalty accounts tomorrow.
