We stayed for one night, booking one room. We liked the fact that the rooms seemed upgraded since the last time we were there and they were clean and spacious. We were disappointed to see that the indoor waterpark/playground, was in serious need of repairs/upkeep. Almost every pipe in the water playground is rusted and the water looks brownish and dirty. The staff was very friendly, however, when we went down for breakfast on Sunday morning, there was almost nothing left to eat or drink, despite the fact that there were still close to 2 hrs until they would close the breakfast room. They did eventually refill some stations but it took at least 30 minutes until someone came to replenish anything. The following part has been edited to reflecr that the manager did apologize after I explained that my account was overdrawn and she offered to cover the overdraft fees. However, the real problem was that their system kept charging me for the room. The took out the money around 11 am on the day of our scheduled stay (check-in isn't until 4 pm). That was not a problem, we were due to check-in in a few hrs anyway. However, when we got to the hotel we were told we hadn't paid for the room. I showed them the charge on my bank app and they charged me a 2nd time... and a 3rd time, then a 4th time for almost $200 each time, which ended up overdrawning my account! The staff couldn't fix it so they gave me the manager's personal email. I emailed them on Sunday night. They didn't respond until Tuesday close to noon. There was no apology and the only thing they said was that the charges will "fall off" my account eventually. The problem is that the bank doesn't care if a charge is pending. They charged an overdraft fee for each transaction and it left me without money for gas or groceries or... anything really. My account has been overdrawn since Saturday and it is now Tuesday and the charges are still there, albeit pending. I cannot use my account. Again, there was no apology from the manager and no resolution offered other than letting the charges stand until they fell off the account. This has never happened to us ever and we have stayed in dozens of hotels over the years. Very disappointing and ended up costing us more money for a mistake they refused to offer an apology on or fix. I would avoid staying there.

There is no restaurant or bar as advertised, very short staffed. I was given a room that was not cleaned on the 4th floor so I had to go back downstairs to let them know which didn't seem to bother the guy at all like it was my fault and I was the inconvenience. Didn't feel safe leaving my work truck and trailer in the parking lot. Of this was the first Holiday Inn I ever stayed at I would avoid them in the future. I definitely wouldn't bring my family here to use the water park not worth it. Avoid this Holiday Inn. I work in road construction and stay at Holiday Inns across the entire state of Michigan and this is by far the worst one I've stayed at.

Been here a couple times. Awesome pool area for families. Only thing from a 5 star would be an hour from 10pm to 11pm or taking an hour from the current pool schedule and making an adults only hour. I like to enjoy hottubs, but multiple times on different stays its packed (as should be). But an adult hour would be nice to enjoy the hottub without 7yos jumping in and out screaming like crazy being kids. Notice alot of other people here for work.

Will not stay here again. Brought my grandbabies here and the childrens pool was so brown I didnt dare let them swim in it. The pictures are decieving. Pool area was dirty. No pool towels. Ended up leaving the hotel at 11pm at night because there were so many issues with the room. I never got a refund either.

Me and my kids had a great time there. Wanted to give a shout out to the manager. I think she did a very good job. I noticed whenever something was needed she jumped right in to solve any issues.
