  I've been to this Holiday Inn 3 times in the past few months as my gf had classes for her work. In each case Alex was particularly helpful. He went above & beyond in every interaction we had with him. He is truly a credit to Holiday Inn! IHG needs to have him teach their other employees how to take great care of their guests!

  This hotel was awful. There was hair in the shower. Which I forgave them for as they sent a maid up to clean right away. What they didn't tell us was the next day the city was having a marathon. We were completely blocked in their hotel for over 4 hours with no exit. They stated they sent an email which I showed them never came and they stated the team member checking us in should have told us. We were checked in by the afternoon supervisor who said nothing. The lack of any type of customer car completely ruined our vacation. Wasted over a $1000. Will never do any type of business with Holiday Inn again. They need to do better.

  I am on a business trip to Grand Rapids MI on 5/8/26 for two night stay. I received an email 4 days prior to my stay stayting, there's a marathon going on downtown the roads will be CLOSED! However they have other parking lots assigned. I drove to park there, 4 min car ride 30 min walk, I couldn't even getvan an Uber roads are closed my show is at o AM for work. I called to cancel the reservation, the GM refused to cancel my 2 night stay only one night. I am a Diamond Elite member spends lot of money with IHG..... The one receptionist was so nice really went out of her way to help me, I didn't get her name I wish I did, the other one, Natasha whatever her name was rude with an attitude! Remind me not to move to Hrand Rapids!

  I understand we paid a premium price for being downtown, I thought the room could have been much nicer! It was tiny! And I could hear the elevator all night. At least give me a break on price if I get a lemon of a room! Not a fan of hotels that don't give you a space to relax in the lobby. There was one table (we were lucky to get) right in front of the desk. So it felt like we were being watched and looked at by everyone coming and going.

  We were utterly shocked at how WONDERFUL the hotel is! With FREE PARKING. I booked five rooms, and even though it's a very busy weekend, the day of our check in, they were able to coordinate our rooms together. Everything was nice and clean and new. The elevator has wonderful lighting for selfies with friends! Clean, crisp, Comfortable beds, with Lots of pillows. The floors in all of our rooms, and bathrooms were very clean. Easy access to the room temperature. Great lighting for putting make up on. Two of our rooms were adjoing. That worked out Great! In the morning, We had absolutely no problem sleeping in ! The blackout shades/curtains worked amazing. ( Better than the curtains at the Amway Grand. ) I didn't hear any hallway commotion, on what I can only imagine was a bustling Sunday morning of people checking out. I could not hear the highway either. Hot water, good shower. In fact, 10/10 For The DOVE MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER, Body wash, and lotion !!! Some places try to give you these little teeny travel bottles of toiletries that claim to be some amazing brand. But really, The DOVE HERE IS GREAT. The hot tub was nice and hot. And it opens at 6 am. Pool Looks Great. The full bar and restaurant are convenient, and delicious. They DO have room service too! THE SHUTTLE WAS A LIFE SAVER. Eric and Lewis were amazing.!! We've stayed at Amway Grand, JW, and Residence Inn, before. And while all of them are also beautiful hotels, mostly with great restaurants, This Holiday inn was surprisingly nice and a shockingly better value. 10/10.
