  Heat didn’t work in the room, called multiple times to speak to with management and they never responded. Don’t waste your money

  Great location with good facilities. Received extra towels because rooms are only cleaned once a week (per sign on the mirror). Was surprised to run out of hot water within 10 minutes of showering. Front desk said they would note it for maintenance.

  We arrived late for an early morning flight. The room we were given at check-in was disgusting. I believe this hotel had a flood at some point. The suite I used a "Comfortable Suite Upgrade" should never have been given to a guest. The bed and pillows smelled like a landfill site mixed with human waste. I had a horrible sleep and had to put my clothes over top of the pillows to be able to sleep. If the hotel staff are using "car air fresheners" they should have known this room should never have been given to a guest. When I brought this up to the girl working at the front desk she said "I'm sorry to hear about that." I will never stay at this property again. The lady we rode back with from the airport said the same thing. Shuttle Incident We called the phone number and requested a pick up at GRR. 3 of us were picked up by the driver plus a lady from MI. We went to the Town Place Suites by Marriott across the street from Candlewood first to drop her off. This hotel was literally across the street and the driver sped out of the parking lot after dropping off the other guest and went back to the airport. I asked "What are you doing? Forget something?" The driver said there's other people that need a ride back. Do you have a problem with this? Shocked, we said "No." Who would do this? I would have rather been given the option to get out and get our stuff and we walk back. Definitely a first for this ever happening in a shuttle. What was supposed to be a stay to get some rest before an early flight turned out to get no sleep and a waste of points and money. This place needs to be imploded and built from the ground up. I will say the lady who checked us in was very friendly as was the driver we had in the AM on April 29th to the airport.
