  This place was filthy, run down and stinky. As soon as we walked in to our room, it stunk like a hookah bar. Carpet was filthy, debris along the floor boards, I saw what looked like a dog had bloody scoots on the rug. A hair was in the sink. We asked for another room but wanted to check it out 1st, that one was even WORSE. The breakfast was something left to be desired. It looked as if homeless people were using the gazebo in the back of the hotel, and they even were grilling. A rock was propping the back door open so they could use the bathrooms. The ice maker was leaking into the floor in the main hall. I would suggest anywhere else, but here. Definitely not a PLUS hotel.

  Believe me when I say to believe the reviews about the bugs!! Travelled for work and my boss booked this hotel. We read reviews and were skeptical. We asked to see the rooms before bringing any stuff inside. Thankfully we did. One room had a large dead bug on the desk. Hair all over the bed as well as stains all over the sheets. The second room there was an empty bug bomb fogger can left behind. Dead bed bugs on the floor as well as other dead bugs. Roach traps on the floor behind the entertainment stand. We don’t even bother checking the third room! The lady at the front desk was very kind about the whole situation. Needless to say we did not stay here and found a room somewhere else.

  I am visiting the area for a wedding this is highly recommend it's in a good location close to food should you need it like it did and the hotel is comfortable, clean with great staff. It's definitely worth your money if you're visiting Southern Michigan.

  We have traveled a lot with dogs over the years. We make sure we are responsible pet owners. We've learned that 'pet-friendly' is usually a different standard than a regular room... oftentimes fleas or carpet stains come as part of the package. We reserved a pet-friendly room at the Best Western Plus in Coldwater, MI for two days to enjoy a mini-vacation with kids and grands who were renting a cabin nearby. This was the worst experience ever for a 'pet-friendly' room. Upon entering the room, the kennel stench was overwhelming and actually brought tears to our eyes from old dog urine. The carpet was disgusting; I doubt it had ever seen a steam cleaner. The furniture was beyond 'shabby chic' or dated. A thoroughly horrible place- ironically, the bathroom, usually the lowest point, was the best place in the room. Luckily we only were there to shower and sleep. The hotel is right off I-69 and mostly utilized by construction crews- we were awakened at 0300 both mornings by stomping above us which lasted until 0700 hours. Even the walls were creaking. Would not recommend!

  Stayed for two nights while on vacation. For the price you get what you expect. Our room and the pool were good. Breakfast was alright for what it was. Overall good experience.
