  Friendly service, but unfortunately VERY POOR CLEANING OF THE CARPETS. There must be some protocol for regular steam cleaning that this location is failing to execute. We have a 8 month old baby that I was excited to let crawl around on the floor in our room. Now I’m too grossed out to do it after needing to wash him every time. Photo attached.

  It was a late night and decided to get a hotel room. So we went to the Holiday Inn Express. When we got to the desk the employee stated she had to do an audit. We asked how long the audit would take, she said a few minutes and went in the back. We stayed at the desk and waited. A few moments later the women came back and said that the audit would now take 30 minutes rather than a few minutes and we should come back later. We didn't understand why she couldn't give us a room, they had vacancy. Then she said we were making her uncomfortable and nervous standing there and demanded we leave. Now, we weren't rude, we didn't raise our voices, we weren't obnoxious or aggressive, which left us confused with how we were making her nervous. After she demanded we leave, we left. Clearly this is not a hotel that we want to stay at or a hotel that wants to provide rooms to customers. We went to the hotel next door, they instantly gave us a room, were very nice and provided excellent customer service. As someone who travels for work weekly, and always stays at The Holiday Inn, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

  It might not be like this everyday but it was today. Coffee cups undersized overflowing from the coffee machine, juice machine out of juice, sticky floors leaving a ticky tacky sound on your shoes that lasted long after breakfast. They are really going to the extra mile to make breakfast here a one of a kind experience. Room overall okay, some sections of the bathroom could have been finished better be its obvious it was done hastily and whoever did it really didn't care. Revised to 1 star just found out the toilet is leaking.
