  We had a great day in Charlevoix. This is a super location and a super friendly hotel that is also dog friendly, which we greatly appreciated. The rooftop bar seems a little distracted for those on upper floors. Best I can tell is the bathroom for the bar is next to my room on the third floor. I also don’t mind paying a premium price for a seasonal hotel in prime location. I am mystified Wynn getting a bottle of free water per day in the room is a huge ask. It stated clearly one bottle at check-in. That’s just silly. The super friendly housekeeping staff could easily replenish our water bottles every day.

  To be fair, I stayed here on a rainy day in June but I would seek alternate options if you’ve previously stayed at hotels in this price point. Staff was great and the location was phenomenal as well. On the other hand, the guest WiFi was spotty, the speaker didn’t work in our room, and the AC unit was incredibly loud to the point where we couldn’t hear the outdated TV. The complimentary breakfast was great but once about 12 people sat down, the lobby was at capacity. In my opinion, there are other ways to spend your hard earned dollar in Charlevoix. Hotel Earl checked every box I expect out of any hotel (at any price point) but I wouldn’t say any boxes beyond that would be checked.

  We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Earl. The staff was amazing- very friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautiful. My only complaint is that there is no room at all on the bathroom counter. Just a small edge around the sink. But the rest of our experience there was truly exceptional. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

  Wonderful location, beautiful rooms, very clean (no smells!), and A+ staff who go above and beyond whatever they can do to help. Sound can be a slight issue, but it’s generally temporary or fixed with ear plugs or a provided sound machine. I’m very sensitive to sound, but it would not deter me from staying there again. We very much enjoyed our time at The Earl and will be back, definitely recommend!

  We stayed at the Earl earlier this week and the room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The bathroom towels and bathrobes were thick and soft and the body wash smelled amazing. Location was perfect and we walked to all the shops and restaurants in Charlevoix. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the complimentary continental breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be staying there again.
