  Room has a bad odor. Loud highway noise. AC does not cool the room enough. Room does appear clean and the staff were nice.

  Here’s a polished version that keeps the frustration clear and credible without sounding overly harsh: Currently relocating out of state, I needed a quick overnight stay while our movers returned the following day to finish packing our home. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below what I’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn. When I arrived to check in, the front desk informed me that there were not many rooms available and offered me a double queen. I asked whether a king room was available and was told there were still rooms that needed to be cleaned. When I asked how long the wait might be, I was told they had “40 dirty rooms,” followed by a shrug. Given the uncertainty, I settled for the double queen. When I got to the room, I was immediately disappointed. It was extremely humid, had an unpleasant smell, and was noticeably dirty. The couch was not usable due to its condition - stains ALL OVER, the top cover on the bed was dirty, and the floor near the entrance had dust, food debris, and even a spider. We also woke up feeling stuffy, and the room had become so humid overnight that everything felt damp. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained and subpar at best. Unfortunately, breakfast the next morning wasn’t much better. While it was complimentary, the serving dishes appeared as though they had not been properly cleaned, with caked-on fingerprints and remnants of food still visible. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn’s over the years and have generally had good experiences, which made this stay particularly disappointing. Between the cleanliness of the room, the humidity, the condition of the breakfast area, and the dismissive response at check-in, this property did not meet the standard I associate with the Holiday Inn brand.

  Service was great! Check in/out was easy. Room was clean and spacious, the mattress protector bunched up & was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods! Very nice hotel and would definitely stay here again when in the area!!

  Our stay was nothing short of excellent! Since we stayed for over a week, we really had the opportunity to observe the staff, especially Heather, the night clerk. Watching her interact with so many different guests made it clear that she has a genuine customer-focused mindset. She consistently went above and beyond, treating everyone with kindness, professionalism, and a smile. She truly cares about making sure every guest has a great experience. The hotel itself was wonderful. The lobby was always welcoming and exceptionally clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with spotless linens, making it easy to relax after a long day. One day housekeeping accidentally missed servicing our room. When we mentioned it to Heather that evening, she immediately offered to come up herself to make the beds and clean the room. We only needed some fresh towels, and she made sure we had everything we needed right away. That level of care and willingness to help says a lot about her dedication. The only downfall was the circle traffic loops those were a headache! Heather is an incredible asset to this hotel, and her commitment to guest satisfaction does not go unnoticed. Thank you to Heather and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
